I find this amusing.........

I use this alias purely to be a wise ass with attempts at humor.  This is the first post where I have gone into the text message portion of the form.  I always limit my wise cracks to just the subject line and always end with (EOM).  What I find amusing is how many "reads" they get.  Even with the (EOM) readers click to read a message that isn't there....until this one.

My browser changes links that I have visited to another color.  I do a quick click in and out to let me know by sight which links are old the next time I visit.

Now that a provider's reviews can be linked to their posts, we have one more reason to read "no text" messages. Very cool, Sedona.

Actually, in answer to the original post, there are a couple reasons to click on a hobbyist's "no text" post. One is to see his reviews, and the other is just to acknowledge how funny his post was.

I do the same. It makes it much easier (and faster if i have limited time) to scan thru the boards and see what's new.

I'll click on an [eom] or a (nt) if I agree with what the line says. For me, it gives weight to the thought and I get to say "me too" without posting "me too [eom]".

Other times, I'm just clicking through the responses and the finger is quicker than the eyes, i.e. I click before I see the [eom] or (nt) at the end.
