TER General Board

I find it curious.

Out of curiosity I just looked at Zara's profile on TER.  There are 17 reviews posted since your Rip-Off review.  13 of those 17 confirm your finding.  13 TER subscribers have since been ripped off by this crook despite your effort, and the efforts of 4 other subscribers to warn them off.  And the large majority of these guys have reviews posted prior to their visit with Zara.  I guess that they don't read the reviews, just post them.  A tremendous waste of time effort and $$$.

Be that as it may, if no one has yet done so, I'd like to thank you for your efforts on behalf of the TER membership in posting ROB reviews.

I am not a member of any other board. I discovered TER and enjoyed its layout and different categories. It has been an invaluable source as well all know.

SO.....why is it that I am having to write this? To remind MY OWN self.

I had a not so GREAT experience last week. The woman had NO reviews, pictures looked appealing (as most do). I SHOULD have read her comments (it was an EROS ad) more carefully.....but in any case...to say it was a VERY big waste of money would be an understatement.

She WAS however, a great conversation..and a great kind lady. SO I was not BITTER at her. I actually have to thank her.
Thank her, because seeing her taught me to ALWAYS make sure the lady i am gonna see has a TER review that indicates she is compatible wiht my needs. If there is NO REVIEW there will be NO MORE meetings.

thanks TER for being here. Taking one for the TEAM can be a very expensive and deflating feeling, but i GUESS we all gotta do at least one...   :)

**** on a follow up note: Ladies, IF you are NOT gonna allow even
any form of MOUTH contact on your neck, nipples stomach, thighs (don't even bring up DATY in this case..LOL)...then say so BEFORE you take us horn dogs for our $$$+...

yeah.....rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrright.....pigs fly!

You hit it right on the head 617.  Sometimes it is not about whether a provider is a rip-off or not.  It is about offering what you are looking for.  For myself, if a provider does not provider X, Y, and Z, I am just not interested in spending money for their services.  TER VIP membership is like being able to look at the menu before you go to the restaurant :-)

This is the real value of TER. If you are not a VIP member, you cannot see all this good stuff.

VIP membership has its bonuses most definitely (otherwise folks like me wouldn't pay). as i indicated in a TER-feedback/review soundbyte: if you do the math, you'll find that the money TER membership saves you is many Many MANY times greater than the VIP membership fee itself (the damned thing pays for itself).  that said, there are some caveats ...

not all reviews can be trusted (but it's relatively easy to filter out the fake ones). and i find that the height of (absurdly) fraudulent reviewing actually takes place in the VIP members "juicy details" section. however staff are to be commended for all their efforts to weed out these bad/fake reviews.

as a related note/hint (for the newbies) i would add that *cross-referencing* the reviewer himself(/herself?) is an invaluable tool. otherwise how can you trust a guy's ratings if you don't know what floats his boat? ("one man's meat ...")

on more than one occassion, i had almost made a hasty decision thinking to myself "oh yeah, this guy's dead-on, she looks just like my type too etc" ... only to turn around at the last minute to find that he's into "other" things (and other "looks") which are so outside my realm of desire that it's downright scary!

in short, reviews are only as good as the context they appear in

Singleton - I think your post was excellent. Taking all that into consideration, I wonder how often Gents do their 'own' homework and follow up in some areas such as looking at the Reviewers' reviews, and the various ladies and gents involved; what they are 'into'; reading historical posts by the ladies you are interested in and also perhaps contacting fellow Hobbyists (that you may have a rapphor with) by email or PM regarding her?

I know that I particularly enjoy when a gentleman is a TER member and I can look at his reviews and get a 'feel' for his personality and style as well as what kind of ladies he's visited and what he's 'into'. In corresponding with a referenced Provider, remember, you'll get little more than a 'yes' or a 'no' regarding the Client (unless, of course, there's danger involved). I rely a lot on TER to help me do 'my homework'.

Great tool!

Sedona

Sedona-- I find your point very interesting ("reading historical posts").  I have been careful not to reveal my handle on TER to women I have seen.  I don't want them to think they are being coerced in any way.  And some providers are just weirded-out by the "internet review" phenomenon.

Precisely why TER is an invaluable tool.  There are many not so stellar ladies out there that will take the horn dogs for their well earned $$$ any which way they can.

It is in forums such as this that you are sure to find those so called pigs that do fly right.  Stick with it!

The timing of your post is eerie, 617.  I had an unfortunately similar experience just last night.  This lady did have reviews, and good ones at that.  I re-read them last night before posting my own, and knowing what I now know I should have known it before I ever called her.  In my defense, her other reviews were two 8's and a 7 even though she wouldn't qualify under TER rules for anything higher than a 7.  That's not much of a defense, since I don't put a lot of stock into number ratings.  I won't rehash the details here.  You can read about my very disappointing evening if you're a VIP member.
Let me just reiterate 617's point.  Some of us are actually interested in more than a one dimensional encounter.  If all you're offering are those few particular square inches, you should seek out clientele with the same mindset.  I want our time together to be with ALL of you, including what's behind your eyes.

Sorry about your unfortunate time.

I contacted 1 of the reviewers a couple weeks ago because he had reviews about some women I was interested in, and he still hasn't gotten back to me. I am assuming he is a VIP because he has written at least 2 reviews in the past month. On a brighter note, a few of the regulars on the Atlanta board stepped up and told me what I needed to know.

important part of the review.  It will show how passionate a reviewer felt about the lady, what kind of services are being performed during that encounter, and many other subtle info about both parties.

My mistake was applying my tendencies to someone else's review.  The better the session, the less willing or able I am to go into great detail.  In retrospect, it's obvious those other reviews covered pretty much everything.  What can I say?  Gonads and strife.

If I had discovered TER a month before I did, I would not have been a victim of the infamous Zara.  Live and learn.

I agree in principle with the previous poster.

The only thing I will point out is that at times reviews are subjective.  Hobbying is YMMV activity.

When researching reviews and such ... it's best to average out, and also take into account the history of the reviewer.
