ive been paying annually for the last 4 years,  even though i was UTR for quite a while i kept renewing.   i was shocked to see the huge price hike when i renewed this year.

I have been a VIP member for many years and paying $20 automatically from credit card.  Recently my credit card number got stolen and I needed to cancel and get a new card.  Yesterday I got email from CCBill to notify me about the failure of charging.  I called them to provide new credit card information but they told me they can't renew it and to apply a new membership. Now VIP membership is $30.  I really don't think it is fair to treat long time client like that.  Anybody know any solution?

on the menu How and Why To Join, it still says membership is $20 per month.
Anybody like to comment?

CCBill is just a processing company. None of us are a client of "theirs".

The solution is to understand that things go up in cost from time to time...and 30 a month should be nothing for someone who is in this thing of ours.

Just suck it up and pay for the valuable resource.
It's not like you give back by reviewing or anything.

To address the point as to why the price has gone up. The dollar has devalued to the point where gasoline is 4$ a gallon not $2.85 and VIP is 30$ not 25$ for a month. So what? Lettuce is 2$ a head. Inflation my friends is here for awhile.None of these prices will change until demand drops for any of these items. Who wants to be first? I suggest everyone stop their VIP so I can then buy mine for 20$ a month again or quarterly for 50$. The real question is , is it not worth it? Without regard to the price. Is it worth what they are charging? Isn't that the same question for everything? Once the price gets too high some people drop out. Supply and demand. Left alone the market is pure.

Yes the same thing happened to me when my credit card was lost.  Unfortunately there was nothing that could be done so yest if you want to continue you would just have to pay the $30 or maybe invest in a quarterly membership.

Switched banks and forgot to change billing with CCB. Check with Admin and they will provide a link to your original subscription and revert back to your "grandfathered" rate.

At some point, I'll have to figure out how to pay with a prepaid CC again. I have been pestering TER to come up with a rate plan pegged to Anonymous PREPAID CC Denominations that we can easily get in the US. (An added set of rates, not a replacement for those of you who are perfectly OK using your regular CC.)

There is no $30 anon prepaid CC in the US that works with TER / CCBill. Likewise, the other current rates ($250 / year, etc.). I only know of $25, $50 and $100 anonymous prepaids that work with TER / CCBill. And CCBill doesn't allow the use of more than one card to pay a single bill. You can't pay for one year with ($100 + $100 + $50) on three CCBill transactions.

How about $25 = 25 days; $50 = 65 days; $100 = 142 days; or similar?

Make it EZ to pay and people will pay; keep it difficult or impossible to pay anonymously and people will not pay.
