And while it didn't really 'upset' me, okay maybe I was slightly annoyed, I just politely declined.
I will not lower my rates for anyone. I am not desperate enough to make a buck that I need to stray from my very reasonable rate. Plus, I am worth every penny and then some ;

Let me know when rents are past due...and if escalade wants a 2 hour you won't cut a deal  LOL

Don't bother with the standard "I won't see him unless he pays my full fare"....I've heard that shit for years.  And rarely, if ever does that stick  LOL

If "let's make a deal" means seeing me every week at a slightly reduced rate... and pre-paying it on the 1st of the month!

Asking for a reduced rate is insulting. Does that 50 dollars *really* matter so much to you? It seems more like a power play than anything, getting the escort to give a little so you can take a mile. Just pay up! We put our rates where we put them for a reason.

Even when I was full-time escorting with this as my only income, I was just never in that situation b/c of consistent regulars, but I suppose if I were ever on my last dime (not gonna happen), I would have to either negotiate, get a waitress job (quick money - tips) or borrow money from my very wealthy family. My personal preference is getting a job. I recommend all escorts have some type of outside income from escorting (if they don't want to be at the mercy of clients who like to negotiate). And, if they do this full-time, never tell clients this is your only income, b/c then they will see you as someone they can negotiate with since after all your income depends on them. Then, they'll make comments like, "oh yea, you bet you'll negotiate with me when the rent's due." lmao pleaaaasee!

...is when I'm booking longer engagements than the typical two-hour deals.  I usually like 4-6 hour dates, or even overnights, or dream fantasy 3- or 4-day weekend "getaway"-cations.

In those cases, Yeah, I'm going to negotiate--and providers have never given me any jazz about being subjected to haggling in those cases.

For shorter dates, nah, I'll never haggle.  I know I'm very fortunate, but the $50 difference (even if I'm successful in getting the lower rate) just doesn't mean that much to me.  And on the provider side, I can easily see a mindset forming where she says, "Well, I need the money, so I'll take the lower rate, but I'm also not going to go all-out to take care of him either, since he thinks so little of me"--or anything to that effect.

That only means you aren't the most expensive in your deographic. Plus its the buyer that decides on what is "reasonable" after you have performed, not you prior to even meeting the John. Having a rate that I find reasonable in relation to the service received will most likely drive repeat business

It's annoying when guys ask for discounts when I'm overwhelmed with business for the week or if they ask for a couple hundred dollars off.  

BUT, if nobody wants to see me for the week and I've already bought my incall room, then I'm happy with any amount. I think that's how it is for most girls when people stop paying.

When a guy emails me with some bs like that (and there are not many lol) I simply respond, "Sure, you can have a discount in the rate, and I will shave off a few acronyms." So, though I will work with certain people on a cheaper rate, I will NOT offer them GFE with MSOG for a cheaper rate. It is what it is. If you want sex, it's the full rate and I don't much care if you're done in 10 min. My rate is for 2 hours MINIMUM.
