I don't think that's how it works. One of my reviews was revised at the request of the reviewer

to correct a simple, but significant, mistake, and my name did not move up the list to the date it was revised, even though it was a couple of days later.  So, probably nobody noticed the revision, as my name was then several pages back, and the damage of the mistake was done.  I think showing a review as revised and moving it to the top would be a good way to handle such situations.

First is a copy of new reviews posted 7/7/02 and as you can see there is a review for Daniela between Lily and Bettina/Jessica/Jesstina  Next is a copy of today's (7/8)new reviews and you can see that there no review for Daniela on the 7th but there is now one for the 8th.

Say guy -maybe they realized they posted so many new reviews on the 7th that they needed to save a few for the 8th?? Maybe its not a great conspiracy. Besides if she is the Daniela from citysource I hear she rocks.

If Daniela had new reviews on 7/7 and on 7/8, then her name moves from 7/7 on the list to 7/8.  Does that help?

As I understand it, our Obsessive-Compulsive friend and colleague in vixensniffing is troubled by the changing dates and/or sequencing order on some reviews. Those I understand are the dates submitted, although the chess session may have transpired weeks or even 3 months earlier.
There is no suggestion that busy Staff has changed any details, so the sequence is utterly irrelevant to anything and essentially trivial, not worthy of our discussion.

From the standpoint of how the reviews might be used against a hobbyist or provider in the future, it may be a good idea to make a few mistakes as to date, time, place, etc. "Your honor, my client was not even in San Fran that week at all. Here are receipts for his plane tickets and phone logs showing he was actually in Belgium at the National Vixen Yodling Contest." The prosecution has him mixed up with some other Schmuck. Case dismissed.

So far as I can tell, reviews do not identify the date of the session, and often are intentionally vague to protect the innocent. Let's keep that in mind. These are fictional narratives for entertainment.

You seem to have gotten some flak for this post but I understand your beef. I enjoy the TER board so I'm not looking to complain, but revised reviews are not new reviews and should not be listed as such.

Fair enough if you think so, but revised is not new. I would suggest to TER to indicate all revised reviews as revised even if it shows up in the new section and even better to state what is revised.
