Just stating the obvious...to most here.

But you go on in what bubble you're living in...no problems here.  As I said, most don't take this shit with a grain of salt.  And then some are like you...fortunately in the minority.

I don't carve shit on here.  You determined that.  Are you that upset that you only have 15 likes?  I can get you to the 100 if that'll make you happy.  You have NO clue...and it has shown throughout your thread.  You cry foul..and then do exactly what you cried foul on.  Hypocrisy at its pinnacle.

If I cared what you or any poster thought of my posting...I would truly need my head examined.  But mindless drivel coming from others is simply not important in my daily life.  Apparently you don't share that sentiment.  Sorry...can't help you.  Not that you asked...but you did by posting your discontent on the state of TER.

As another former mod told ME...YOUR 15 minutes are up pal.  So either contribute...or STFU.  I vote for you to contribute...but the balls in your court.

…..Since you asked Bluepillman, I am going to give you my reason for being disappointed in this board in general and the posting antics of the last two days specifically.  I read this board every day and while I don't post much I contribute whenever I have an interest and although I don't post much, the question apparently is am I afraid  my “whimper” will be drowned out by the big boys like Curly? LOL, Nope!  In fact I am a mature gent who has spent his career in the heated combat of the automobile and banking world.  There are those, even on TER, who know me from MN and would never use the word mangina in the same sentence as my name.  I have eaten competitors for lunch throughout the years, so yup plenty of testosterone here.  I just don't think that being a keyboard warrior and smart ass poster  is much to be proud of.   I do lurk here on this board and offer comments from time to time.  And, I am only speaking for myself.  The posting over the a last two days has been below high school jock level IMHO.  Just awful.  The bottom line is that these incessant rant threads caused others who could find this board entertaining or informative to go off shaking their heads.  This is the TER General Board, and we had what, maybe 6 or 7 guys yukking it up congratulating themselves on how smart and funny they are.  You know who you are.  Now as you point out, Bluepillman, I don't own TER, but neither do these other guys, even though they act like they do.
It's been a disgusting show to which I must comment, grow the fuk up.  That's all.

Since the change over a year ago many of my favorite posters have left, only to sporadically check in.  When those guys and gals did contribute the boards were much more interesting and entertaining.  But then they would disappear again.

Yesterday DD had to post something similar to your lamenting post.  I said the same thing to him as I'm saying to you.  Get involved again and maybe my other pals will get back on board.  This place can be a blast again.  While there are plenty of alternatives out there...the type of players that I find interesting are still on this particular board.

Hopefully others will join back in.  If not, it takes time for novice posters to learn how to direct traffic.  We've had more estrogen filled threads that many seem to be bored with as well.  Finding that balance was what prompted the changes.  That hasn't seemed to have happened...and likely never will.

I've received so many PM's from members asking who the mods are here.  That is a major problem...and hopefully one that will revert to what it was a year ago.

As far as the PM's you got...that I'm sure you did as well.  Many of those same PM's ended up in my box saying just the opposite that you read.  Many here like to play "stir the pot" from different directions.  Take those PM's with a grain of salt.  They mean as much as the "like" button.  Except for those that you have previously bantered with...and even then..many still like to be "two faced" when it comes to this game.

Like I said to DD a day or so ago...and I'm suggesting to you again.  Get involved here.  Plenty of threads that YOU could have added value to.  Or don't.  But don't be a hypocrite and start a condescending thread because you don't like what others babble.  Taking this way too seriously.

And since you were around before these changes (I'm guessing here  LOL)..you know that threads are nothing more than contrived nonsense.  Often times started intentionally by the very PM guys (you know..those long time members) to stir shit up.  They get bored too   LOL

And the mods who used to patrol the boards...well, some were simply the biggest pathetic narcissists that ever trolled on TER.  Creating and encouraging seriously bad behavior.  While others had an agenda to actually engage and entertain.  I honestly enjoyed all types of mod behavior.  And rarely have an issue with any poster here.

If you need some names of boards that are much lower key...shoot me a PM and I'd be happy to share those links with you.
