I saw a CL provider a few weeks ago. She told me she gets around the 3 posts per day restriction. She has 20 prepayed cell phones and she opened if 20 CL accounts. She does that so her ads can stay on the top page listed. Her investment in the cell phones payed off. She is averages $2000/day. I told her that guys like myself will search all the ads. She told not everyone is like me. Guys just look at the ones posted on first page.

Too much hassle for little revenue that CL brings.

Let's see:

* 20 different numbers

* 20 different CL accounts

* 20 different ads daily

* 20 different mail addresses that might generates 50 answers for each ad

* endless mail exchanges, back and forth, with 100 people or, worse, having them calling you on those 20 cell phones...ring ring ring ring!!!

* setting appointments, IF she gets any

To manage 20 cell phones, 20 ads, hundreds of mails and calls definitely will take her WHOLE day sweets.

She only uses 1 cell phone for guys to contact her with.

It seems to be if this lady did operate her business model in the way described, her best bet would be to hire an admin assistant to help her out. Is NOT that easy to pull all that and, on top of it, be creative enough to write 20 different ads every day.

Is very hard to keep track of all this shit for the little time she will end up having to turn tricks.

Craigslist - the birth of corporate providing.

I tried one iffy Craigslist girl with positive TER reviews and that was the last time.  As far as I'm concerned, anyone who advertises primarily on Craiglist or the Backpage is beneath my notice.

If she loses an hour to scheduling, cleaning up and taking care of the website, that's a 16 hour day, without meals.

Now you know what she charged you - the math can change considerably if she charges a whole lot more than I assume.  But if that's so, why does she need to put so much effort into staying on the front page?  And I sorta doubt a CL provider's going to be charging high end.

If she's making $2K a day, I doubt she's working a 16 hour day.  I suspect a statistical freak or some poetic license.  Maybe a couple guys tipped her big, or something more likely.

If a CL provider is averaging 2000 a day she never sleeps, never eats, and never has time to post.

At 250/hr, upper end of CL in most places, thats averaging 8 sessions a day.  Give a minimal 15 min prep (yuck, I'd hate to be guy 4 much less 8) and that's 10 hours seeing clients assuming she never leaves her incall.

If she does OC assume it's 1 hr transition time which now has her working 16 hrs a day.

At 250/hr on CL she likely gets multiple fasle start e-mails.  She posts ads.  Answers phones. etc.

No way.

And at 2k a day that's over 700grand a year.

No way.  Not on CL.

I'd say she may have made that one day or maybe a few days but we all know its not an every day outcome. This biz is work...it takes time and persistance and with regs as clients it can happen but not all the time.
But really~ "beneath you"?? I doubt it...
