Ladies: still read romance novels?

The news item linked below prompts me to ask the question:

Now that you spend time with a variety of naked male bodies....
do you still read romance novels?

Ladies over the age of 40 might remember the famous Fabio,
whose "mug" is below.

No eight pack, but it was definitely interesting. All the girls were goo-goo-gah-gah about it.

Regarding romance novels: I have far too much of an imagination to need a romance novel. I like to think stories up in my own head for entertainment. All I need is some good music and a road trip. :D

memories of my grade school summers! I recently bought a romance novel to try to rekindle that feeling. I haven't had a moment to read it yet.

but not of harlequin romance novels.Although I have read books that were under the romance category but had a hint of mystery or drama to it.I am more of a mystery/thriller or autobiography reader.

to say ladies my age would have anything to do with this interesting, um, creature lol. No thank you, at least for me lol. I think he's more of the 50/60 age bracket, no? Maybe I'm out of the loop lol. Oh well, either way, a book is a book is a book and for those who enjoy them lol. I'm more of the modern erotica series when I actually have a moment to sit down, focus and read. I enjoy J. Kenner and her Stark series. That's the last book I actually had a moment to touch. It's a more realistic adaptation of what is being called 'fantasy' today I think. I read only two of the trilogy and left off last summer on one, but I hope to continue reading up on Mr. Damian Stark as I sit by the pool soon enough. Now he and Nikki seem like a hot ticket, at least to me.

Speaking of series books...I don't ever go to the movies, but I am interested in taking a gander at the highly anticipated '50 Shades' adaptation to see it go from book to screen next year. They didn't choose the right Mr. Grey in my eyes, so it will be interesting to see this gentleman pull 'him' off.

Now, on another note, that would be a fun date indeed....'after' the movie that is. Or should I say...'during' LOL.

with dark long hair. That's not too hard now is it? That's quite the opposite, don't ya think? She has an adorable smile though, looks very happy to be hugging her studmuffin crush there Mr. Fabio. Probably made her year for sure. Super cute shot and that is what's all about.

Even I have better things to do than do a longer google search of "aging Fabio" pix.  But this one was easy to find.  Do you like to be picked up?  A certain poodle around here says he used to play football and might be able to.  This gal looks like she might be Italian, too

If you want your own pic with Fabio you could try this, and get some of his  whey powder at the same time

I'm not ethnic like that I'm Italian lol. Come on, put those search skills to work you're good at this. I think you're quite capable.

but you don't believe everything you read now do you? Lol

Of course I'll be there but I'm not patient so waiting until Feb 2015 just might not work. I may have a crush on another fellow. And never say never to M&Gs, anything is possible...with me. ;)

Wouldn't want to be too predictable, how boring. I don't like boring lol, I think that's pretty obvious.
