Hobbying after recovering from a hobby spending binge

Hobbyists how do you change your hobbying habits so you won't over spending again after recovering from a previous hobby spending binge ?

1. Do you force yourself to stick to a budget ?
2. Do you fuck your wife/girlfriend more so your sex addiction won't cause you to over spend ?
3. Look at ad less than you did before ?
4. Find something else productive to do on your free time instead of looking at escort ads all the time ?

You want to do this because you realize you need to buy a new car or house or save for retirement.  

In previous years you took your tax refunds, any savings, and bonus money and spent 100% of it on the hobby like a drug addict spends money on drugs. You might have taken out a home equity loan to hobby. Or you might have used your credit card to hobby with.

I haven't tried this myself, but ...

Rob a bank.

1. If you get away with it, you'll have plenty of money for hobbying.

2. If they catch, convict and incarcerate you, "they" will prevent you from acting on your impulses.  

Final suggestion: be sure to target a Federal bank. Federal prison is supposed to be much more comfortable than state or local prisons.

Try seeking arrangements

I hear them young dumb college girls practically give it away.

If that doesn't work for you, try all of your suggestions.

But if you're hobbying on credit or worse your home equity, you need serious help. If you want to save your life, come clean with a best friend or even your wife if you have to, but you have a problem that you're incapable of managing on your own.

Ouch - I've often wondered if this gets addictive and how guys budget for playtime.

I'd be interested to know if you have a set amount you can spend or a set number of visits per week/month to a lady?  
I love to eat out somewhere lovely but I choose one or two places a month to try and stick to it otherwise I'd get a) FAT and b) poor AND fat.

It is what it is.   I have tried to stay on a budget in the past, but then new girls would show up that I wanted to see.  It wouldn't be fair to leave them out just because they came  here late in the month, so now I don't bother trying to budget.

I don't believe hobbying has anything to do...

With being addicted to sex.

I think it's more of an addiction to spending money, or getting paid. Depending upon which side of the coin you are on.

I trade heavily in penny stocks.

I make several cents on every transaction and save the proceeds in a jar until I get $10.  Then I buy some porn and jerk off.

Try this

Check out the "Fuck me Silly" products made by Pipedream on Amazon.   For about $250 or $300, they're an excellent investment IMO.  While not the real thing, they do provide a very effective substitute until I can comfortably afford my next hobby experience.

I'm spending my kid's inheritance on my hobby

Oh crap, that's right I don't have kids.

I keep spending money, and it keeps coming in, so this is a good system.

I spent a hell of a lot more money on inferior pussy when I was married. So now I get what I want, when I want for as long as I want with wayyy less hassle.

To answer your question more directly, when I go on a binge, I just draw on saved funds and then when I get back to my normal hobby pace, in a couple of months it levels itself out.  

Spend less than you make, I recommend that as a general philosophy.

Hobbyists should only be spending discretionary income on P4P. . . .

Rent/mortage, utilities, food, etc. money should not be used for P4P.

As far as I am concerned, ALL my money is discretionary

I can't imagine not getting laid simply because of money. The thought is inconceivable to me.
