When you are seeing a certain provider for the first time (assume you have a one hour date). How much time do you spend beforehand (clothed) to just make some small talk to get comfortable with each other?  I mostly like to minimize small talk beforehand and if we have time after the action, it is nice to just lay in bed together and talk.  
Also would like to get providers take on this.

I can pop twice in 2 hours but the first one needs to be early in the first hour.

Even as a provider I contemplate this but I say feel it out.  I usually spend between 5-10 mins talking and then down to biz. If I sense the client  is not feeling that I will get down to biz sooner. Now a regular client whom you have more to talk to with and enjoy each others company there's usually more talking...

I've honestly found the easiest way to avoid new-person jitters or awkwardness is to immediately pull him in for a deep, deep kiss!   Sucking face has a wonderful way of breaking the down the social barriers!  :-P

If iI think it's likely I'll want to see her more than once (as is typical with local providers), I like some small talk to get to know each other better after the welcome hugs/kisses. The time varies from a couple of minutes to 10-15 mins in a few cases. I've found that the providers I've seen tend to like a little convo first on a first date. Often we do the chit chat during a massage, which is also a great warm-up I think. If we've already talked before we get together for that first date, then we can skip the preliminaries.  

I'm usually not nervous but just in case the provider is, then a good 15 minutes of chatting is very important to me (45 minutes of action is more than enough).  From my experience the more comfortable the provider is, the better the experience (not rocket science I know).

Small Talk...

When meeting a gent for the first time for an hour appt I do like a little small talk to get to know one another.Even if it is just to talk about what he is in town for and what is his likes and/or dislikes.
I don't want to spend too much time talking on an hour appt so I would say maybe 10-15min if even that sometimes while having a drink.
More talking afterwards if there is time left.

The last provider I was with, it was a 90 minute session and we talked for the first 30 minutes then I had 2 pops back to back during the rest of the session. That was fun but I prefer a little bit of small talk in the beginning, then pop 1, then some more small talk and then pop 2 (or at least an attempt at pop 2).

I prefer the talking in bed AFTER the activities nothing wrong with getting to know someone but just how much do we need to talk before we play? After all,  we are here for the action right?

I talk to my ATF when I'm driving her home. We don't talk much when we're playing.

I usually do 90 minutes first time for that reason.

If it is only a couple of hours, then a few minutes is OK. The time after the pop is better for chatting.
