From reading the post below about songs we enjoy doing the horizontal bop to, my mind naturally went in the opposite direction.  What songs are total buzz killers in the bedroom.  Here's a start:

'Rape Me'   -   Nirvana (wouldn't want to hear that at my daughters prom either)
'Having My Baby'  - Paul Anka  (er, same as above)
'You Oughta Know'  -   Alanis Morissette
'Rock the Casbah' -    Clash
'The End'         -    The Doors
'Eve of Destruction' - Barry McGuire

I'm sure you pervs and ladies can think of others

My selection I guess would be Alice Cooper's "Cold Alice".  (Sort of a paean to necrophilia.)

but then again, I would have Jim Morrison's babies!  Provided he was still alive...which reminds me of a toast from my bartending days....

"Here's to the man I loved the best...
I'd fuck him naked and I'd fuck him dressed...
I'd fuck him standing and I'd fuck him lying...
If he had wings I'd fuck him flying...
and
Even when he's dead and long forgotten...
I'd dig him up and fuck him rotten!"

RIP- Lizard King

As for a song NOT to use as a bedroom soundtrack- "If you wanna be happy" and I'm not a fan of "let's get drunk and screw".

Great post!

"Date Rape" by [Sublime? I think] would also fit, or not fit, the bill here.

I'd be scared that her head would start spinning around while we were doing it.

Did it just get freezing cold in here?

many a year ago in college.  She saw it in my record collection and requested that I play it and it worked well, especially when the bells chime in towards the end; and the nice fade out is very apropos too.

And no, her head did not spin around nor did anything green come out of her mouth.

Another one for the Do Not Play list would be The Flight of the Bumblebee, for obvious reasons.

Tubular bells was the background music for some memorable sessions for me way back in college.  I'm not too sure how memorable they were for my partners, but good for me.

Actually, I seem to gravitate towards instrumental music in general.  Jean Michelle Jarre or Tangerine Dream anyone?

As for this thread; music to NOT listen to ...
... I'd say any acid rock with heavy distortion.  Also, I don't imagine that hard-core rap with mysogynistic lyrics would be much of a mood setter either.

About 2/3 the way into a session, Sarah Brightman's "Ave Maria" popped up in the background mix. Talk about difficulties in staying focused!!!
