I don't think it has much to do with reviews. Reviews can be - - and often are - - artificially inflated.
I consider a high volume provider someone who sees
4 or more clients a day. This is just my definition.
I mostly see Asian girls, so they are all high volume providers. Many popular kgirls see 10 or more guys a day. They work through agency so they make less and agency takes a cut, but they make it up in high volume.
Whether or not you'd want to see a high volume provider... It really depends. Mathematically there's less chance of girl having an steedee with lower volume. Also the girl will likely be more rested and the experience will be less of a conveyor belt operation. So often providers advertise themselves as low volume.
To me it doesn't matter much, although the pains of back to back appointments are known to me. I wish my beloved Asian girls would be a bit more rested. But
she is seeing 10+ customers a day, day in and day out, is lying. The average is 6-8, depending on how many are 1 hour, two hours and 30 minutes. Granted, a girl may get 10 customers once a week, but then she will have slow days the same week when she is seeing only 4 customers a day. Most girls consider 6-7 ideal. They often tell you that they are much busier than they really are so you will feel 1) lucky to get an appointment, and 2) that the "perceived" high demand means that she is a top tier girl, when many are not. One thing they are is savvy about marketing, and a guy with an erection will buy just about any story they tell. If you want rested don't see Asian girls after 5:00p. First appointment is usually either 10:00 or 11:00a. In Vegas, its 1:00 or 2:00p.
There are indies who are high volume, and there are indies who aren't. Some of the ones who aren't did not intend to be low volume, its just the way it worked out. Lol

Is there a formula for how many jugs of water that you bring based upon the number of toys and weird things that you've bragged that you enjoy inserting into these providers? Do you keep records (a journal) so you can just bring enough without spoiling them too much?
I once did a poll on Twitter regarding the definition of "Low Volume"; clients defined it as no more than 2 clients per day. Same poll for providers? We reported up to 3 clients per day is still considered "Low Volume". 
What is High Volume really, though? Some will say anything over 2 per day, others say over 4 or 6..... some say they really only think of a companion as "high volume" if it's obvious she's seeing a different guy every hour with no breaks between.
So.... Do you mean per month or per day?
Per month, well that depends on how many days a companion is available in a given month. There are some who really do work 6-7 days a week so even if she's seeing no more than 3/day, the average per month can sound like a LOT.
Then there are those, like myself, who might only be available roughly half the days in a calendar month so her monthly number of dates will be less than someone seeing 3/day and working 6 days per week.
A more accurate view might be to look solely at how many the companion averages per working day.
You can always ASK her but don't be shocked if she doesn't answer.
Many companions don't consider the number of dates she has to be any of the client's business.

Long ago, my personal daily max was 8 and at that time, I averaged 6/day. However, back then I'd tour for 10-12 days then take a month or more off before my next tour.
Because that's what worked for me at that time: go full-tilt and then full STOP. I no longer have the physical or mental energy to see that many per day.
I am now an independent touring lady. I don't work every day of the month (probably about roughly half) but I do often tour 4 days of the week, 3 weeks per month. I go home every weekend.
My typical day is 4 or 5 clients. My personal max is currently 5/day.
Anyway.... I personally don't need 1-2 hours in between dates. I LIKE to have an hour in between and nowadays (pandemic) I really try to schedule more than 30 minutes in between because I'm wiping down all surfaces with disinfectant in between each date.
But normally? 30 minutes in between is fine.
I've been going at this pace for years and it's what works for me.
