I can only imagine that more women who are providers need to blunt the trauma of fucking some of the guys they have to see.

About two years ago I went to see an independent  provider that was visiting in a hotel and when I got in I noticed that she was drunk,I decided to leave because I was afraid that instead of blowing my dick she will bite it!!!

... but it was an abnormal amount and as it turned out somewhere into the time I was spending with her it was very clear from certain symptoms that she had an opioid craving. Eventually she told me she had developed a dependence on percocet as a result of thinking she could recreationally enjoy the remainder of her prescription after having a wisdom tooth pulled.   Nothing like quasi-heroin addiction to boost big pharma's bottom line.   Maybe she got clean or maybe she moved on to heroin like too many do. What a damn shame.

Of the providers I've seen over the past few years, I only experienced one who seemed out of it. That's a smaller percent than the population at large. Of course, I personally don't take risks by seeing non-reviewed providers, so my experience may be skewed. That said, the one exception was a doozey. She hid it well at the start, but got more sloppy as the session went on and nodded off. I cut the time short and left.

When those issues effect your time with that person, then they're your issues.  

you are in the wrong line of work. Maybe some providers get into this hobby to support a habit. However, if this job turns you in an addict maybe it's time to move on to something else. Your soul doesn't have a price. I've seen providers get high before calls and it's a bad sight, however, I don't feel bad. Are you doing this job to get high or do you get high to do this job either way it's wrong.  

what's wrong with them? What are you trying to avoid in life that to have a good time with me you need to be under the influence of something. It's sad.

I don't know where the stereotype is coming from dude, your judgement that most providers are involve in drugs or alcohol is somewhat misguided/just plain ignorance to me. Majority of the ladies have plenty of reason why they choose this profession whether for a long term or just temporary, just to be in this industry and sometime they do it for financial reasons or just for fun. ie college, family emergencies, divorces, children, rebellion, social experiments, hobby, independent business owner, or just because, challenges and many other reason etc, etc and BTW let me remind you that some of the ladies that you directly pointed out, are those people that had been abused and mistreated by their pimps/handlers, and be dependent, not capable to recognized the risk involve that their into. They have a disease and manipulated taken advantage by nasty, mean people for their on profits and show of power over someone. IMHO, Don't be to quick to judge people. Just sayin....

I would have left also. if she is visibly impaired I feel I wouldn't get the best session from her, besides she knew she had an appointment she could have held off on the drinking. It would also be very doubtful that I would schedule with her again.

Is the "trauma" of fucking some guy any worse than the "trauma" of getting butt-fucked by your boss, or having to deal with a raving lunatic customer?

if you are noticing a pattern, it may not be all those gals at all. Blunting the trauma on a case-by-case basis, you know.

I have been sober for 6 years and in the hobby since August and FOR ME being sober makes me a better provider, citizen, daughter, friend, aunt etc.  I find something appealing in all my clients so there is no need for me to imbibe!  I feel for providers who are in active addiction or feel the need to alter their minds to be with a client.  The only thing that pisses my off is and forever will be SWHEDDY BALLS!! LOL

Amen Roxie. A provider would not want to see a drunk or drugged up client so why would a client want to spend time with a  provider high on those same things. I wouldn't.

I would say that it is likely that providers who are in this business because they have to be, or because they feel they have no other choices, have a greater chance of having alcohol/drug habits. Like you said, to numb the pain. I honestly enjoy the business, so I have never felt that way, and if I ever do, I'm quitting on the spot.

 Why am I telling you this?

the very first provider i was with insisted on drinking her vodka during our session.  as a recovering alcoholic i found it quite irritating that she would not abstain for the hour i was with her when asked.  i found myself wanting to take a sip of her drink while doing things with her, which was not a good thing.  i saw her again a few weeks later, and when i opened her refrigerator to get something to drink, the only thing in it were some oranges and a gallon of vodka.

Get on a plane to La Guardia and toss me some ass!

 I will also throw this out there. If the hooker you are seeing passes out or falls asleep on you during your session what would you do? Please answer from a little head point of view and be honest.  
   
 Oh, and just a note. It's not popular for you to call her "your provider" because that indicates ownership.

I would be concerned with consent issues and the potential for an overdose.   How can someone really consent to something if they are totally out of it.  I think that the client would be taking advantage of the provider if they were to engage with someone in such a condition.  Bad scene! On the other hand, I can understand how some of these women may feel it necessary to drink or smoke after hearing about how they are treated like shit by some of the Johns.   They have very stressful job.  I have butterflies or knots in my stomach whenever I have to walk through a hotel lobby to meet a provider for the first time.  I can't imagine what it must be like for the ladies on the other side of that door.  

I had my fair share of other supplements when I was a cool chic. Now, I'm alot more fun without them. Wine is legal and the taste is sensational. Why would I want to give that up!

i just went through the worst holiday season of my life.  won't bore you with the details of a car accident and lung cancer scare (no cancer thank god) and pending divorce from my wife of 31 years who suddenly left me...

Providers are just another sample of the general population, which means they're no more or less likely to have substance issues than anyone else.  And yes, I have been in the unfortunate position of being with a provider who used.  She was riding me cowgirl, but every time I was about to pop, she would stop and grab her coke for a snort.  It was annoying, and I hope she goes to rehab.  Especially since I do really like her.

I have never hear of 'provider' having the negative connotation of ownership. The term provider is used in many different professions where a person *provides* a service. Doctors for instance are called providers. I certainly take no offence to being called a provider, and do not associate it with ownership in the slightest.  

I guess my concern would be that if a person has a serious issue with substance abuse, that it could inadvertently cause problems. If a person is in a mind altered state on a regular basis, I would worry that they may not be using the best discretion, or making smart decisions, and end up getting busted. If that happens, have they put in the necessary safeguards to protect their clients. That of course is a two way street.
