I told them I didn't like then. I told them about the the fact that it does not run on the Droid browser. Still don't. They didn't listen and now I am going to leave if they ditch classic TER before the Droid issue is fixed. I am not happy. I did test it in beta and hated it then and told them why. I have every right to complain as I did test it and I am a PAYING CUSTOMER. The new site sucks and I told them so.

That no one can say that this might, at least be for the better. Yeah, change sucks, and I was one of the first to say so. But WTF? Give it a fucking chance! Admin didn't do it because they're 'high', or wanted to rattle our cages.

Goddam! Like you're still in high school or some shit! If you don't like it after awhile, move on!

We can bitch about this or that enough to make a change. If enough do infact do it.

But if 10 peeps outta 10,000 are the only ones speaking up, guess who gets listened to?

And there was a beta version of the site available for everyone to test out for at least the last month.  People should have expressed their displeasure at that point.  If you really care then be active in testing.  I was and reported a bug during that period.

The beta version was out a whole lot longer than that. It had a lot of issues with it, which were reported and fixed. The new site is really not that bad, I like to save my searches and how each region has the break down of its top 100 "laidies"

If everyone would take a little time and click on stuff to actually browse and surf the site it is really not all that different from the old one.

I'd just to add to this thread a reminder to the Admin that TER is not used like yahoo, google or disney. Not all of us can access TER openly, freely and indiscretely. Many of us take precautions at work, in public, at home or visiting others.  

TER has to be functional (which it was) but simple and fast. I avoid Flash. Who needs flash? Why does TER need Flash? If something hangs or crashes it can lead to an embarrassing situation if I can't shut a window and have to yank the plug out of the socket as if it was a perfectly normal thing to do. "Come in, come in. I thought I smelled smoke so that's why I pulled the plug." Flash-less Classic was mostly OK.

The new drop downs for selecting boards DO NOT WORK AT ALL with scaled down or firewall curtailed browsers. Put yourself in our shoes (or offices)!

Please keep in mind who your users are or at least who MANY of your users are. Not all of us have the luxury of unimpeded, unfiltered,  relaxed browsing. Give us a break.

Just my 2 cents.
People tend to resist change. Give it a chance and time to adjust. After a few tweaks and improvements you might not want to go back.

So this is the kinder gentler thread...okay everyone sit down and cinch up yer britches...I like the new version.  There is really nothing wrong with the new version, I used the beta and found some programming issues but I think the design is actually better and a little more intuitive.  I don't love the way the bulletin boards lay out but that's okay I can live with it.

I would like to know why the change though...is it software based?  hardware based? or the change was just made for shits and giggles.

Either way, change is tough but I think this is a change for the better.

OK...now everyone can accuse me of shilling for the mods!!!!!!!!!
