Just wow.So, for most of us Hobby-world people, BP is common knowledge. My question is.... Do you think a public blasting will have any kind of effects of bp, bp business, or bp escorts?
I'm sure they're using main stream media to raise an awareness so more people will jump on the bandwagon. On the flip side, Dr. Phil just said "Psst! You can find sex on backpage!" lol. (And not everybody is aware of this little world.)

R rated movies sell because of sex - now they can take sex to an entirely new level on National television, but in such way that it looks like it has pure purpose. But we all know when they pop those hooker photos up, or even talk about it, boners will be popping up all over the nation as well lol.
A way to feast on a subject that intrigues you is to talk negatively about it... while inside you wish you could join in. I remember when fighting off sexual feelings as they first came up as a kid, (think 18 and up, ) I talked negatively about sex to hide that just the word sex was getting me off.
Bad publicity and exposure can go two ways --- it can chase people away, or simply spread the fire and get more people interested in the subject, and possibly acting on it.
They already know they're a huge target and even Dr. Phil can't make them any bigger. And they have made some changes in their posting rules as a result of all the criticism. All Phil is doing is picking topics that will get eyeballs to watch his show and drive ratings so he makes more $$$$.
So basically, Dr. Phil is a bigger whore than anyone on TER, which ain't exactly news either. He's just a higher-priced whore.
He delivers a lot less than even a $50 BP whore.
I maintain that people only watch Dr. Phil, Jerry Springer et al because they want reassurance that there are people out there even more stupid than themselves. It's a shame that for the likes of Pimples and Fungy, that they still can't feel superior when watching these shows. Oh well, for someone to be at the top of the barrel there has to be someone at the bottom.

I think people like Pimples watch shows like this in the "hopes" of finding people stupider than themselves. In many cases it's a futile effort.
