My guess is no.  Personally, I almost never go there although I did recently on the P&R Board.
Hell, I barely read to the bottom of page 1.  Once a thread drops off page 1 it might was well fall into a Black Hole.

come up on subjects I was interested in (not Ripmany's posts), and then only if they are from persons I usually like to read anyways.

On an active board like GD, I rarely even get to the bottom of page one, much less go back to page two, unless of course I am doing a message search for something specific.

no need to read page 2, because it's yesterday's page 1, which i read yesterday

So if you've been away and are itching to bring a valuable new perspective to (say) a thee-day-old thread, you'll need to start a new thread to get noticed

But sadly our troll quality has dropped so there isn't many lately.

It had been trimmed back to two of about 200 posts. I accuse the usual candyasses who can dish it out but not take it. You know. The usual suspects. Laughable. Just take the whole post next time will you TER? How embarrassing.

The ads boards are always worth scanning back several pages when applicable.  Not here, though...once it's gone from page 1, it's gone.  Like reading yesterdays newspaper.
