I am interested in getting in the business in the dc area. I am 45 and in great shape. Work out all the time, very petite, 5', 102 lbs long blonde hair, you get the picture. Once a lady reaches her mid-30's, she has the experience to provide a true GFE.  I see a lot of providers who are upper 30's to 40's who understand about the journey and not just the destination.  

Don't get me wrong, I like a mature (in actions) lady in her 20's as well; hoever, most 20-somethings do not posess the experience with men to know their way totally around the bedroom.

I will admit to something.  I don't care for lying, but I have fibbed about my age in this business.  I still often times get carded and look much younger than my actual age.  And when I was a stripper, I noticed that older dancers were discriminated against because of their age... even if they looked good and had a good disposition, people would often imply that maybe they should consider retiring their g-strings.  Why would it be different in regards to the hobby?  Also, if I were to have a client for ten years, I don't want him to think, "Gee, she's ?? old now."  So I thought it was best to be coy in regards to age.

Why would a client ask?  Most of us don't work under our legal names... so what's the difference?  I think people are just trying to get a feel of who you are... assumptions may be drawn according to the number.

I have been with many providers over the years,  ranging in age from 22 to 58.  Three providers would fit in the "mature" category.  They were 46, 48, and 58.  Let me just say that these were the hottest ladies I have ever been with.  The 48-year-old was my best experience ever, and I often fantasize about her.  That session was perfect, and she was so awesome.  I was 29 at the time, and she left an imprint in my mind....  So to answer your question:  YES!!!!!!!!!!

Over 40 here and age seems to be a help, not a hindrance.  May be different in other parts of the country, but in DC, the average age of my clients is 54.  Most clients state that they don't want to see someone their daughter's age.  Alot of older gentlemen also feel that older women appreciate them more, enjoy and embrace their sexuality and aren't into the head games or "acting" that sometimes occurs in this industry.  

I find that as I get older, I enjoy sex so much more, appreciate the time and attention given/received and am having the time of my life.

Do a review search with a low end age range of 36-40 (if the profile says she's 36-40, she is usually over 40). I'm sure you'll see a long list of recently reviewed providers.

I do believe there is a higher performance standard than there is for the 18-25'ers. You don't see many 40 plussers getting away with covered BJ's and no-kissing rules. I like the mother-daughter idea. Go for it.

Well, I can tell you that there IS a difference.  First, just read many of the responses.  Second, you have to think about what a man is looking for when he goes to a strip club as opposed to when he calls a provider.

At the club, he wants eye candy and he may also want to see a bit of an athletic show.  Most guys don't really care about the quality of conversation with a stripper because: 1) They are only going to be spending a little time with each one, 2) There are plenty of superficial topics readily at hand, 3) The music is often so loud, it makes it hard to have a serious conversation anyway.

When choosing a provider most guys are looking for a combination of beauty and personality.  For some, the beauty is more important, but her personality (and erotic skills) are certainly a factor.  Most guys at TER seem to weigh the appearance score slightly lower, in terms of provider selection, than they do the performance score.

Also, you have to factor in the fact that is age is not a direct indicator of beauty - some women definitely get more beautiful after the age of 30.  But it can be a pretty good indicator of sensual experience and knowledge.  There are obviously exceptions within this generalization, but I think it is relatively true.  Combining these two conditions, I would say that age is pretty far down the scale for many potential clients of providers.

Don't get me wrong, I love a beautiful young woman as much as any guy, but if I am going to be choosing a provider, age ranks below her reviews, her photos, and her brains (if I can read posts or web site to gauge them).

Finally, I believe there is a difference in the lifestyle normally associated with a stripper versus that of a provider.  I think the prevasive party atmosphere that seems to surround so many strippers tends to wear them out before their time.  Meanwhile, I think providers are much better at taking care of their main assests - namely, their body and their spirit.

Of course, these are simply my uninformed opinions since both my careers as a provider and as a stripper never really got off the ground

I am in my early 30's, I hope business is good at 40 considering I like what I do, and don't want to retire any time soon. I have a friend sp who is 40 and she does great. Thankfully, men are attracted to all different types. However, I disagree with the covered bj position. This is done for safety, and age has little to do with it, as well as kissing. In fact I think the opposite, older sp's know the risks, and take precautions to ensure nothing interferes with their ability to work.(GFE-at any age usually includes kissing) Good luck in all you do!
