I always ask before the session begins if the want a review and I review them only if they said yes, "only if it's good" or I feel I need to warn my fellow hobbyists about her. I do not review ladies that don't want them. I do not play the "only if it's good" game,  I treat that as a yes. Out of the 12 ladies I have seen only 4 wanted review, two of which gave me the "only if it's good" line. So I take it from my small sample that many ladies do not like reviews. I think reviews are like references annoying but needed if you want see the more cautious people in the hobby world.

Good reviews are important to get the word out and increase your income but it's also risky because a few less-than-stellar reviews can decrease your income.

I notice that some providers request no reviews and others encourage it.

What do you prefer and for what reason?

That maybe the case but the Op is asking if we like it. I personally don't like to be reviewed.

You're definitely not going to have most ladies publicly state on this thread that they don't prefer reviews, as they’ll end up involuntarily delisted, they won't be able to post on the boards, you won't be able to inquire about them and their reviews will be pulled. Doh!

And since my understanding is that if you discourage reviews, you will be delisted, I will keep my opinion to myself.;););)

I think saying you'd prefer not to is different from saying you disallow them. If I had a choice and I would not be prevented from partaking here, I would not accept reviews..hate them and 98% of my clientele is NOT from review boards, so I have allowed reviews from a tiny portion of my business..I don't have many at all because I tend not to cater to reviewers.

Does anyone know? Because I would love to know!! If we can freely state here we "don't prefer reviews" can we state that on our sites without breaking any rules? Mods? Admin? Anyone?

I guess most want them to kick start their business but then after reading them and some of the bullshit that goes with it, decide not to bother after establishing themselves...things can change.

Don't know what the mods will say or the powers that be who run TER, however using the word "prefer" gives a window where the hobbyist can post a review even though you'd prefer not to have one.

If you unequivocally stated "no reviews", then that is saying, without doubt, that you will not accept them, therefore causing a de-listing if you used to accept reviews and no longer do(don't quote me on this one) and not being able to post on the boards.

TER is a review site, and expects the ladies to outwardly express a desire for reviews.  Asking to have them removed will get you bounced.  Anything else is somewhere in between.  :)

Seriously though, we all realize that many ladies would rather not have her acrobatics documented for all to read.  It comes down to how hard to you resist them, and who do you piss off.  If someone can provide documented proof to Admin that you don't want reviews, you are at risk.  Put differently, if you'd rather not be reviewed, you may want to discuss that privately with the folks that are sharpening their pencils.

I ask when I am leaving.
A few have told me they would rather I didn't do a review and if I did, not to be descriptive,and speak specifically, so I don't write a review. I have seen one provider, before the first time I visited, she stated by email she wants no reviews.
She would have received "Platinum Star" Double Tens...

The ladies I see in Austin are UTR, don't take new clients, and don't want reviews any more.  HOWEVER, I found these dear ladies when they encouraged reviews while getting established.

And if I'm hobbying out-of-town I absolutely rely on reviews.  GiaMarie, I'm still going to try to spend time with you on my next trip to the Twin Cities.

if you do not want reviews why you visit and post on this site to begin with...most of the ladies I know that prefer not to be reviewed, do not post or visit TER.
It is known that most high-end providers do not want to be reviewed and I have never seen them on any boards making posts..

solid 10 10.    Having no reviews hs not affected her business in the slightest. Too many reviews for me is a turn OFF ~~~~~~~~~~~~ I like a little mystery. When I see pages and pages of reviews that lady is off of my to do list. Volume is a great turn off to me.

When I started this "biz" I was against them. I was trying to fly "under the radar" as I am relatively low volume. However, over time I realized the reviews can help you in several ways...Mostly to make you, the client feel better about what their hard earned money might get them, also knowing we are safe! I am not worried about the downside as I TRULY give my all with every session...IF my potential client does their "homework" and is getting what they really want. ME
