There are only so many hotels to frequent within a couple years time and the staff start to notice who is who. Plus my face is unusual and unforgettable. Really. From my personal experience, I know staff are coorperating with LE. I KNOW. It's good to know some men are open to apartment incalls. I see the reasons that would keep some away, but with a good incall location, I could see it working.
thanks.

So someone posted something on a thread below that got me thinking. He said the OP's post question doesn't matter to him "Since I don't see ladies who work out of apartments." So I was wondering Why would a gent not see providers who use apartments aas incall. Is it just coincidence? Is it because they only want to see ladies in a hotel because they are just more comfortable that way? Or maybe they only go to condos. Are there some guys who prefer an apartment or loft? What's your preference and why? thanks.

My thoughts on this are that a gentleman might be worried that neighbors may see clients coming and going too often.
Where as a hotel the lady usually only stays in a day or two then leaves or gos to another hotel.
At least thats what I do.
Not sure about all the ladys.
I just like to be extra cautious.

the short stays and assume either hooking or drugs.  Next thing, LE is called and the place is under surveillance.

Hotels are safer.  She doesn't live there, and most of the time, the staff doesn't care because they don't live there either.

I get extremely nervous when I go to a static incall.  That nervousness effects the session as well.

I currently use hotels for various reasons and very good ones.

But at a future date, I was planning to get an apartment to use for incall.  I realize the dangers of both.

Hotels nowadays are working with LE and they watch things very closely.  You have to stay very low traffic or you are getting very risky, but this makes the hotel more expensive.  (Cause I don't use cheap hotels)  But even though I use hotwire and various discount sites, they are still costly when you only use it once.

Now the apartment is much cheaper, you can create a sexy comfy atmosphere.....but you have to be careful of arousing suspicions.  But what I have heard many say is if you get an apartment in a large complex, neighbors will hardly notice the traffic as long as your not high volume and usually the most traffic would be during the day when the neighbors are usually at work anyways.

I would love more opinions on this because I'm really torn on how to proceed in the future.

I'm thinking safety, comfort, and of course bottom line.  (in that order)

Thanks

get a little nervous. The staff note how they recognize you and youre a great customer. And you can only frequent so many hotels because of the supply. Wouldn't you think non-hotel locations are safer because you wouldnt have the prying eyes of hotel staff. But I guess there are neighbors to be concerned with.

Need to pay attention to the neighbors.  Are they around a lot?  Are they scoping out every one who comes & goes?  Need to inspect the situation at various times of day, evening & weekends.

actually one of my favorite agencies does the same.

Hotels are becoming increasingly unsafe with respect to LE and are just not comfortable in my opinion.

Private incalls are ideal for a lady who sees only one to three gentlemen a day. Most condos are fairly busy and in major metropolitan region are fairly anonymous. As long as you do nothing to *bother* the neighbors you are good.

The answer to the problems of a fixed incall are good screening, contact protocols and traffic management.

Good screening - obviously but all the more important...

Contact and traffic protocols are important -

emphasizing a quiet low key approach

no knocking on the door (leave it open or be
waiting for him watching through the peep hole

no flowers or wrapped gifts

insisting on business casual dress or whatever seems to blend in the best

having the gent carry a briefcase or such. This also leaves room for small gifts if desired

and above all the provider has to be willing to discontinue seeing anyone who causes problems

assessing various traffic patterns thorugh the property and having gents take varying routes

I've known ladies who operated this way for many years quite safely.

What a lot of hobbyists do not realize is that ANY decent hotel security staff knows EXACTLY what is going on on their property at all times.

The only thing that keeps hobbyists safe in hotels is a business decision on the part of the hotel not to bother with providers as long as they do not cause disruptions.

This is predecated on a desire to avoid negative publicity about their property while making MONEY. Providers spend good money on rooms and smart ones tip the staff very well.

The supposed safety of hotel properties comes crashing down in an instant when a decision is made at the management level to cooperate with LE.....

I've heard of busts where neighbors dropped the dime on providers.  Watching the traffic flow of a building, does traffic blend in.
Private residences are the worst, as it's clear where the clients are going.  (Providing Mom's busted by their neighbors.)
Apartment buildings are not all the same.  High traffic & common entrances to blend the traffic is superior.  Still one should not invest too much as moving at intervals is still a good idea.  Multiple providers is WAY too risky, IMHO.
Still "on the hour" appointments, all men, stick out.  Why not on the half hour to mix it up?  Why not have clients use different entrances, to mix it up?  BTW, despite my need for a cane, I'm the guy who takes the stairs & another exit leaving a hotel.

I think the "upscale" apartment complexes around here are great locations. They are usually gated, have large numbers of units (300-400) and because of the numerous colleges in the metro area are typically busy with people coming and going all the time.  Most are of a similar design with 2-3 "breezeways" per building and have 2, 3 or 4 floors which means that people going in a given "breezeway" could be going to any of up to 15-20 units.  Most are designed in a way that a person in the parking lot or in another building can't see into the "breezeways" and see which door you go to because each unit's entrance is set back with a short stub hallway.

Also I think hotels are kind of deceptive on the amount of anonymity they offer.  There may be lots of people coming and going but a large portion of them are actually guests of the hotel.  Hotels typically notice large numbers of "non-guests" visiting their property because the hotels are designed to funnel people through a few areas.  Compare that to an apartment where the number of visitors stopping by to see friends or relatives is much higher.  Many people give their friends the gate codes to avoid the hassle of answering the phone and buzzing people in.  Once past the gate the traffic flow is the opposite of a hotel with people fanning out in all directions instead of towards one or two elevator banks.

About the only way to draw unwanted attention to yourself at an Atlanta apartment complex is by taking up too much parking.  That gets other residents irritated and makes them take notice.  So leave those few empty spaces closest to the breezeway empty and walk the extra 50 feet.  Residents who come home and don't have to fight for parking are happy and won't be trying to figure out who owns the blue BMW that is always parked in the second "spot".  Residents are not going to be bothered by seeing "visitors" near their building as long as the visitors don't make a nuisance of themselves.

Many of the working girls are college aged and they have lots of friends, are "home" during parts of the day and this image fits well in most apartment complexes around here.

So how does one get through the gate?  Call from there?

...there is a visitors lane at the entry gate that has a keypad you use to either punch in the code or to contact the person you are seeing on the phone so they can "buzz" you in by pressing a few touch tone keys on their end.  Typically if you have the code it is totally automated, you punch it in and the gate opens.

It has worked the same way at various complexes since I was in college 10+ years ago.  Friends would just tell me the code so I could get in without them having to answer their phone.  There was only one place I can think of that actually had a "guard" at the gate that would get your name and call the people you were there to see.  I've not seen a live guard anywhere else since.

I didn't mean to hijack the other provider's thread either, but it seemed we were looking for the same info.  I want to tour around this summer, but after that I definitely plan to get an apartment.

I will be getting one in a college town also, definitely won't be small or shared!

Thanks

Thanks for participating. That's what keeps the boards going.

Austin has a lot of college students and younger professionals, so there are tons of huge apartment complexes. In reading reviews I get the impression that apartment complexes are more common than hotels around here, but I can't say that for sure. The providers I've seen have been in apartment complexes, and I felt totally anonymous coming and going. The layout is the same as what you describe.

I saw a provider yesterday that was in more of a ghetto apartment complex. It was old and dingy and didn't have more than maybe 15 apartments and 5-6 parking spots out front (my luxury car didn't exactly blend in, either). And she was sharing it with two other girls. Those are the places I'd avoid.

Thank you all.  There is very good information in here.  I have changed my opinion; am more open minded about fixed locations & the possibility that some might be a more discreet option.

I don't see ladies who work out of a private residence because in my opinion they are not safe from prying neighbors, psycho customers and LE.  I know that many will disagree but I've only had two close calls in over 20 years of play 4 pay and both of them were associated with a private residence.

reasons.  That said I have been to both incalls at a hotel and at a private residence.  If a lady is a true low volume provider ( 1 a dayish ) and the apartment is appropriately located I see no problem with an apartment incall.  The problem is you must convey that you are a low volume provider (and they must believe you) before meeting at your apartment.  p.s. I've used the # pad system before as well and at the right place it works very well.

A friend tells her neighbors she does employment verifications for small & medium size companies and sometimes has people come to get their ID badges. No one has ever raised an eyebrow
