I plan on being around a long damn time. Causing hate and discontent is a high priority, just not here cuz of the whiners and two-faced that can't handle the shit they get in return for the shit they deal out. 
Just answered a newbie's post. Was respectful, mild mannered, totally fake and condescending and felt like throwing up after.
You know as well as anyone, if not more, if I can't give it to you straight I'm not doing you a service.
Respect and being schooled to act and react in certain environments has been taken over by being politically correct and being put under pressure cuz they want an audience that hasn't proven their loyalty or resolve, but instead we're being shunned upon for those very things.
Out with the old, in with the new. Conform or die. I'll take the latter.

Just sometimes I get more excitable than others. BTW, moderated again because of my outburst last night, I'm sure. It's alright. Just a matter of time till it happened again is the way I look at it. The guys tried and I'm grateful for the few days of parole, lol!

Really nice of them to be sitting around a round table bashing our board! 
That's the "bottom line". If they feel that the content on one board is a problem for profitability, they will change the way content is managed.
On any given day I may or may not click on a post from someone (or some alias) I find annoying. It depends on whether I am in the mood for controversy or not.
I think it is nice that there is a board that is more of a free for all outside of P&R. Politics and religion are boring unless sex is involved . It is also nice that there should be a place that is a board that is more moderated and where content is more civil.
Folks on TER can be divided into three groups for the purpose of my argument.
1. Some folks have to walk on the wild side.
2. Some folks need a civilized environment in order to feel comfortable contributing.
3. Other folks are comfortable in both environments (a small minority I think).
For TER to maximize revenue and profitability the needs of different kinds of users need to be addressed. Just not clicking on a post won't cut it. A newbie would have to take some time to sort out the aliases and if they are of a sensitive nature would likely get turned off before they figured out who the players are.
This all pretty specultive. I don't know any data. But it is more reasonable than expecting a cookie cutter approach to be adequate.
