if you weren't hobbying, what would you do with the funds you would have used for donations? Save/invest? Buy stuff? Charity? Give to panhandlers? Couples thearapy? Anger Management therapy?
What would you do with the time saved on research, traveling to and fro, time spent with the ladies themselves?

I would probably drive an Escalade instead of an F-150....But I like my F-150 and I love great sex so I'm OK with things the way they are...
As far as time invested who knows? I'd probably hang out in strip clubs more like I used to before I started hobbying...
Financially, I would save more for a house, car, retirement, etc. Regarding time, I don't hobby frequently enough to really affect how I'd use my time.
I figure I've spent about $100,000 over the last ten years. Given the time value of money, I probably could buy a Ferrari now.
With the time I've spent...well, I probably could have written a book.
I think I'll stick with hobbying. It's great.

Back in winter of '04, in my penultimate days of being a gadfly at strip joints, there was that evening where the lady I liked most basically made arrangements to meet up afterwards with the lady lapdancing next to us for a girls only session. For some reason, at that moment, I realized that continuing that endeavor was a waste of time and $$$, and that the four year drought had to end! This was reinforced several weeks later while on a business trip...while I was getting a hard-on to go the topless bar later that night, the dude across the hall at the hotel had an escort visiting. This was the day I finally decided to check into the scene, discovered TER, and three weeks later, the drought ended. I have not looked back much since then...the fact that I can meet with ladies for real fun pretty much at my discretion and choice rather than depending on getting lucky in civvie world is a great thing! As for shaker bars...been three years, and I don't miss them!
I used to spend my extra cash in strip clubs. Once I discovered the hobby, I haven't been back to a strip club since.
I'd be going to casinos 5-6 times a month. this hobby is much, much cheaper than my last one. I can see a dozen providers for the cost of a single hand of black jack. For that matter, I can fly to Costa Rica, see a dozen different ladies, and still spend less than I could lose in five minutes in a casino.
The big difference is, I feel great after a weekend in CR, as opposed to just feeling stupid after blowing tens of thousands in a drunk weekend at a casino.
