This board has become a board cluttered (or should I say littered?) with OT stuff by the same tired posters over and over again. This board is a sex, and hobby board, and should remain that way.

I am proposing, and requesting that STAFF add a new board called OT (Off topic) for people that want to post about Movies, Personal crap, Music, Tech questions, poetry, TV, sports, charities, art, or whatever.  

Posts on this board not on topic would either be pulled, or moved to the OT board by the moderator!

There is a Politics board, and yet during the past two weeks so many users posted politic related messages here, some got moved to the right board but some didn't ( May be because of the number of responses)

There is a board for jokes and humor but it's almost dead? Why? They are all posted here and not on the right board!

and finally there is one for "Suggestion and policy", ... That's the board you should have posted your suggestion not here on General board!

It seems your beef is with the moderator(s) of this board. Those  jokes, and political rants should have been moved to their  proper respective boards.

I posted my proposal here too, to see General reaction. Nothing hypocritical at all about my post.

This is a board about Sex, and the Hobby, but the usual posters use it as a chat room about inane OT crap.

1. Why are you using an alais to post this? I don't see any reason why you couldn't use your regular handle. (Before you jump on me for it read the rest of this...FOCUS...)

2. This IS the General Discussion Board.

3. Moderators are not paid staff. They can't follow every single thread on the boards throughout the entire day or night.
(As far as Election night threads, some moderators allowed those threads to stay on local boards as per local reactions. DUH.)

4. People can post as much or as little as they want on ANY TER board.

5. I do agree that the same people post over and over and others are just plain sick of it. So those people, who grew weary, have moved on to other places. Which sucks for us because the GD board use to be very fun to read.

6. There is TER MESSENGER BETA now. I have sucessfully used to chat. I would make the suggestion that those who have become overwhelming chronic posters and use the board to have their own conversations try it. There is also online chat to do the same.

7. (Finally) If others don't step up to post their own threads and get others involved it will remain the same. Affect change on the board and others will follow. For instance, start an interesting thread and link it back to your local board. Get people to come read and post.

The simple reality is: This is The "General Discussion" Board. There is also a Newbie Board.
You can start affecting change here with a little effort or you can continue to whine to staff who will not create one more board they need to find an UNPAID MOD to watch.

BTW, I'm NOT a newbie. I've been around here for 6 years.  I'm just sick of this  board becoming the Bizarro/Fisher/Hungry et al OT board. This board has gone to the dogs.

Let's create an OT board for the tired old men to use as their chat room, and the usual over the hill providers can respond. Let's keep THIS board devoted to sex, and the hobby.

the whole deal about different topics on the board is so we get a glimpse into who we all are. Hear others opinions and views on different subjects and what not. Tells you a great deal about a person. Maybe by what I read I may decide to see or not to see someone based on their views. The pieces of their personality that come through in their chit chat.
It may all seem like simple banter back and forth but it measures a persons level of interest and at times their integrity as well.

You know, how the fuck does it injure your eyes to see posts devoted to something other than what YOU are searching for on here?  If you aren't interested in the subject matter, and if it isn't intended to injure someone on here, why do you care?  Just move on to a thread you are interested in!  It does NOT say above on the header to this board that all discussed subject matter MUST be about sex!

If you have a subject you want to talk about on here, by all means, post away!  But if well respected posters like the ones you mentioned post things and many people post to them and it encourages general banter, HOW THE FUCK DOES IT HURT YOU?

Ok, what part of "GENERAL" is not clear to you?? Where did you find the words "SEX and HOBBY related topics only" in the name of this board?

The purpose of the GENERAL discussion board is EXACTLY that - general discussion. About sex, the hobby, and any damned thing else you care to talk about.

Maybe YOU should consider chatting somewhere else if the stated purpose of this board does not suit you.

I agree, many times I see a thread on here that is of no interest at all to me. What do I do, move on to something else. No harm, No foul!

If you don't like a topic or poster then you have the choice not to click on it, duh! I bet you are one of those types of people who try to get TV shows canceled rather than just change the channel.

If you or even a few providers don't like the postings, then pass them up. If you want to change something, I agree with Angie about starting a thread that is really interesting and adding your viewpoints (hobby related or not). Some people post here because they're lonely, because they are not that busy with other things so they have time to post, to feel the community bond with their fellow hobbiests or providers, to keep up-to-date with "The New" and questioning what's going on in the community. Some people are just more outspoken. When I have a lot of personal things going on in my life I do not respond to posts. When I have time, it's fun to post. I think hobby-related discussions are great and I learn a lot from them, but I also enjoy jokes and a variety of other venues to discuss that isn't always related to the hobby.

Let's see: The GD board is for "general discussion." I see postings about every type of sex question imaginable on this board. In fact, some of those questions also get tiring, but some who are new to the board and haven't had their questions answered yet do not find it redundant. Have patience, my dear.

And, I have to ask this? What makes certain people post more than others? Perhaps they take the time to elaborate on their feelings (whether it is boring or interesting), so that could be interpreted by some as worthy reading.

You cannot change or enhance upon anything unless you are a willing to participate.  Since this is the "general discussion board," why bother reading it if it doesn't tickle your particular fancy? Why don't you suggest an OT Porno Board? I think there are fewer people who only want to talk about the hobby than those who have other interests. I could be wrong, but I think what you are looking for is in the minority, so you need a special board -- and that's okay with me. Also, you were not specific in the type of communication you would like to read. Do you want people to flirt more, use the word "Fuck" more or only see who is better in bed (which is in the Reviews section). Who would you like to see post more often, and what would make them so unique from those who post here on a daily basis?  Just curious.

Thank goodness I learned from an early age to have respect for older, wiser people. There are times when I get bored (or even feel offended) by younger people. They can be so "inane" and state such "inane drivel" but I try to show patience. However, that only makes me a happier, smarter and hornier person. You should try it sometime. There is no need to get yourself so worked up over something so trivial. Life is too short, hon.

Now, back to your regular scheduled program with all of us older yet wiser farts.

The unreasonable adults here are interfering in his fun. This is a General Discussion board for people that share a commonality of enjoying and participating in ‘The Hobby’, not a Sex Discussion board. You are probably one of those ‘Wham Bam Thank You Mam’ type of guys where the pure sex is the only thing important to your hobby experience.  You don’t relate with the non-sexual interaction (both in and out of bed and in and out of the session) that so many here enjoy and relish. We get it, but why do you want to deny (or segregate) others of that part of the hobby?

That the thread YOU started and all the posts you put under this thread on what you proclaim as a sex board has NOTHING to do with sex.
Therefore this thread should be pulled and you should be moderated or banned for bitching, moaning, complaining, whining, and just in general being pissy, and insulting respected members of TER under an alias.

This is a GENERAL discussion board, so what if something other then sex is posted, big deal! it basically gives you what you'll be reading about in the Subject matter anyway, if your not interested then move on and don't enter..Seriously now, what IS the big deal here?
Sex or your thoughts on the hobby or what the weather was doing outside when you were fucking your ATF or the war in IRAQ to what lotion you use when you give a hand job...who cares! If your not interested in the Subject matter, then just move on!
