Other than that those places are really a rip off by local standards.
I would also stay away from the other "all inclusive" resorts that don't supply women as most of them will NOT allow you to bring anyone not registered with you onto the premises. My suggestions are either Black Beards or Field of Dreams. Both of them will have plenty of local talent working the premises and should be just what you are looking for. You'll be amazed at just how far an American Dollar will go in the DR. Have fun.

but trying to fix FG's horrible relationship with the written word is akin to fixing what is wrong with Congress. Just where do you start? Everything needs work. You would be much better off telling him what is correct about the way he writes, it's a much shorter list than what's wrong.

BlackBeards is just fine, but the other place is EXACTLY the type of joint you want to avoid. For half the money you can get a much better room and all the chicas you can possibly ever want.
My advice is to avoid any of the "all inclusive" joints and simply go ala carte. The chicas that the resorts will charge you $300 for will be more than happy with a hundred bucks to stay with you all night, the resort pockets the difference. it's kind of like seeing a hooker with a pimp, only here the pimp is the resort owner.

I think a much better deal would be to resort in a larger city and just use TER to find a girl. You are not stuck with your girl for several days-ouch if you don't like her much.
Especially in countries where prostitution is legal.
The rest of your advice is spot on though. Nothing worse than being stuck with a woman you just don't click with for several days, just because you've already paid for her. That is just one of the many reasons I advise against the all inclusive joints.
