My q for hobbyists & providers: when an appointment is booked, do you make contingency plans for possible emergencies & dealing with potential "flakes" ? Do you have backup plans ? In other words, do you folks try to prepare for unforseen circumstances ? & if the appointment does go through, do you have plans for certain aspects of the date ?

But, I never hobby in desperation mode. So, if a date doesn't work out, I just try again another day. Don't like setting things up knowing I'll have to cancel on someone. Probably my only backup plan, if any, is to hit an AMP.

I never make a backup plan for in case a provider cancels or flakes.

Usually, I have booked her (or committed to book her) months in advance. I am looking forward to seeing HER and if something goes awry, I will simply go without or reschedule her later.

I know there is a subtle distinction; but I am not booking a menu; I am booking a woman. Just because that woman offers Sex Act X doesn't mean she can be substituted with another woman who also offers Sex Act X at the spur of the moment.

HOWEVER -- chance DOES favor the prepared mind; because my prepared mind generally guarantees that I am not booking a flake.

While I have (VERY rarely) run into schedule issues due to acts of nature; I have NEVER had a lady flake out, NCNS or anything of the sort. Any minor issues have been sorted out by people of goodwill.

So the CHANCES of these things happening to me are quite low because my prepared mind has already stacked the odds in my favor by booking admirable and respectable women with sound judgment and good character.

As for "Hope for the best, expect the worst" No way.

People live up to high expectations. I will not, to paraphrase the President, subject a provider to the soft disapproval of low expectations.

The average family's food for a month costs $500. It is not unusual for me to plop down more than that for a single appointment.

When I have paid a woman, for an hour or two of her time, enough money to feed a family for a month -- my expectations are anything but low.

I expect the best and so far have not been disappointed.

If I've got a narrow window to play in, I will find backups in the process of selecting a partner.  I wouldn't set something up, because that would be unfair to her.

If I'm just horny, I'll take a stab and if it doesn't work out, I try again another time.  After all, I'm pretty much horny all the time.

NCNS is the ultimate in disrespect IMO, and I would never do it intentionally to a provider, or anyone else for that matter.

When in Atlanta, I have no worries. If a providers cancels on me on a day that I am particularly horny, I just call one of several reputable agencies in town, and problem solved. lol

When I travel to a town that I am not familier with, I usually make contact with several providers, and leave the door open to make an actual appointment with at least a couple. That way I have a backup without inconveniencing anyone in the process.

Some providers require advance booking and will not book an appointment on short notice, unfortunately that rarely works for me, and I will almost never book with those types of ladies.

My thinking was, if you merely hope for the best, you best expect the worst. Meaning, hoping is not a good substitute for good preparation.

I haven't often needed same but when I did, I appreciated the MP very much.

Not all areas have these but I'm very fortunate to have a good, long established MP to turn to.

If plans go South, I cancel & either reschedule or schedule with another Fav on another day.  My window of opportunity has to fit pretty close...

Knowing your options is never a bad thing.

I plan carefully for the appointment and am reliable to follow through. Most ladies I've contacted are likewise professional. If they don't confirm or something comes up, then I don't scurry looking for an alternate. I just make another plan for another time, with the same provider or another lady. I write that particular window of opportunity as gone. Better to go back and do my research than end up making a poor hasty decision. Desperation and haste lead to mistakes.

So far, I've never had a NCNS from a lady. Some more surreal than that, but never that specifically.

But I Hoped for the best and expected the best.LOL The preparation USUALLY did me right.

Like the rest;if it didn't work out i just lost that window.

Boston/RI have a great selection of MPs/AMPs (my preference is the latter) if sh*t happens.
Haven't needed a BU plan (yet).

I never double book but it is nice to know that if I am NCNSd, B&Sd or if anything untoward happens I still have options...

I mainly tour and I don't double book or schedule back ups. I will screen someone who says, "I'd love to see you today if someone cancels as I'm nearby" and then call them in the event that someone does.

Working in Las Vegas is different, but still no back ups or double booking on this end.

I am just wondering why you wouldn't run contingency? Would most of your scheduled appointments show up? Also would you say that a fairly high percentage of clients appear when they book as well?  Also would you tend to have a low percentage of cancellations as well? Also do regulars tend to see you frequently when you aren't traveling as well? I just wanted to see why you feel running contingency was unnecessary in your case.

If I have done my research properly, which so far I have, there is no need for a back up plan.  I have read many reports of guys having back-ups, but doesn't that fall into the category of setting up more than one date and picking the best?????  That seems to me to be leaving some NCNS dates.  Not something I would do.

If my appt falls thru, which so far it has not, I would just head home, my balloon is already busted, so I would not be in the mood for a replacement.

My feeling is, if you have done the proper research, you should not need a back up plan.  Back-ups, to me, indicate you have not prepared sufficiently, or you would not need a back up.

There is the exception when the lady bails out on you, and you are in a strange town, but that is not something I have had to deal with yet.....

Hopefully, I will not have to deal with this situation....

At home or on tour, I do not double book and I don't like knowing a man has done this to me. We ladies have our ways of finding out, eventually. If the guy has to cancel, he has to cancel. If he cancels three times, I will always be booked when he calls. I think it's rude for a man to double book and then cancel on a lady to see someone else. It happens though, especially now that there are so many women out there, and many men who view us as a "service" and not human beings with feelings. I don't see those kind of men and I don't do backups either.

If I book with someone, if there last minute problems, I just roll with it.  Generally, when that happened, things worked out in the end...even if it was a few minutes, an hour, a day, or months later...

I treat each date as just that, a date.  I have no pre-planned agenda of any kind.  If I have done my research correctly, I should know what to expect.  There is no substitute for reading the complete reviews; VIP is a must.
