One downside of this biz is that most men makes decisions based on horniness. They are horny "right now". They don't know if they'll be horny 4 days from now lol.  

So yes I always pre book and in general at least a few days before hand.

For touring ladies it mostly helps them a great deal to see what kind of ROI they'll get for making the trip & staying a few days-- (even moreso when they're with an agency!..is it worth the trip.

I always appreciated it when i toured.

I used to pre-book and too often they cancel because of a unforeseen event.  After so many unforeseen events of plans falling through I have found better luck planning the night before or morning of for the following night.

I have found that 1-2 days is generally the ideal time frame for me to book in advance. It is far enough in advance that the provider can usually finish her screening without having to rush to get it done in time for the appointment and to take care of any other arrangements. It is also close enough to the actual appointment time that there is less risk of either party having to cancel on the other party.  It does pose the risk of missed opportunities, if the provider's schedule fills up before you book with her, but that has only happened to me a handful of times. 1 to 2 days in advance has otherwise worked fine for me.

I don't know if I will be in the mood to see an escort until the day of the event.

I can never do last minute, or same day sessions. Everything has to be pre booked. Completely the opposite of the old days of taking several numbers, and hoping one was available.

I prefer for everyone to Pre-book. I work a job, and sometimes have a lot going on so pre-booking works best for me. It allows me to move my schedule around to accomidate your appointment. I do have a strict cancellation policy. When I tour and take time off of work, I don't travel without pre-booked appointments. If I am traveling for work, and placed a touring ad, I am seeing you in between an already hectic schedule.

The worst part to me is he doesn't even bother to make up an excuse. Like...have you no shame!?

...I mostly hobby on business travel and want to have my recreation nailed down prior to the trip.  I book 7-21 days in advance.

One of my regulars only needs 24 hours notice, one books same day only, and one travels...the traveler usually posts an ad about a week in advance and I contact her immediately...

Regardless if traveling or local 5-7 days in advance seems to work best. Pre-booking saves both parties time & money in this crazy age of instant messaging, traffic & stress...

Interesting  point Sasha. I participate in the hobby for fun first, so the level of horniness  is irrelevant to me. With that said I don't worry about how far out I pre-book, because if I decided to see someone it's because I want to have fun (and who doesn't want to have fun?). Sure there are times where I'm hornier than other times but I'm not going to cancel because I'm no longer extremely horny. I mean I could technically rub one out all the time and never participate. But where's the "fun" in that.

Many have expressed that pre-booking leads to a higher rate of cancelation, I've experienced the opposite. I've experienced pre-booking to be more reliable and a better overall experience because she was able to properly plan her life and schedule. I've experienced rush sessions where she was coming from somewhere last minute and was in rush to be some where right after. Felt rushed and she was less engaged. She had many great reviews but I caught her on a hectic day. Pre-book helps minimize those experiences.

I'm sure that at some point you have NCNSd some dude.  Did you follow up and let him know that your Grams died, or the cat fell out of the window, or the great fallback line of I had a better offer, please don't take it personally.

There was a gal I had wanted to see who traveled about half of the time and wanted to be sure to see during a window of time where I could hobby extensively and book others around whatever she would schedule.
This was about three weeks ahead of time. When I saw her she thanked me for scheduling so early or pre booking as she left the next morning instead of that night. It was the only time we could have hooked up and was mutually beneficial.  
I usually only book a day or two out without too many problems. Of course it is always easier with regulars.

One of my favorites hosts a couple days in my area, twice a month. With her, I book about a week in advance to secure a slot

I try to feel out the ladies schedule a week in advance if it's not on her web site.  Than I try to book 3-5 days in advance as I typically book during the workweek and I need to clear the deck of meetings - we LOVE to have meetings...   LOL...

When I am home a gent must let me know at least the night before (even if already a client).  
Guys just don't get the fact that we do not sit around showered, shaved, all dressed up and waiting
for the last minute call!! Plus on top of that I need to make sure my Incall is immaculate.
Most importantly I do not want to be rushed in any way.  Last minute will tick me off beyond
anything you can imagine and I will not subject myself or the gent to feeling that coming from me.
