We allow provider ads on the regional (not the National) discussion boards, except the Los Angeles board.  I try to limit the frequency of ads by any one advertiser.  

Staff is looking into this matter further.

Good morning my dear friend Etellier,

I don’t think I have been shilling or spamming but informing of good quality providers that I have indeed made a thorough research on. When it comes to Pornstars a.k.a Adult Film Actresses, (They charge between $1.2-1.8/Avg. Per Scene) is easier to rate them that high for obvious reasons, (i.e. Looks, Performance, GFE/PSE type of meetings, Personal Fantasies, etc…). Like I have expressed earlier to you in our battle on the NYC board, I am not a Millionaire and much less a High Roller but one that Budgets his finances correctly instead of spending it drinking, smoking, taking drugs and/or gambling like probably you do. But as you can see not all of my reviews are with flying colors but most of my Pornstars are for obvious reasons previously stated. I have seen ladies from a variety of Agencies as well as independents and so there is no such preference for a particular Agency.

As evidence of most of my meetings with Pornstars there are the photos taken during me meeting that proves that indeed both the provider and/or I did have a good time. The photos are located in the Yahoo Club "Sex With Adult Film Stars" for anyone that cares to view them.

I must say that indeed I do post of ladies I have seen on the Cities that they will be going so that the local hobbyists are aware of it since this is what is all about SHARING INFORMATION, something I have not SEEN you doing Sir.

I can put my reviews to a test were I ask those that have seen anyone based on my recommendation to please express themselves sincerelly here and say if it is true or not what I said.

Also, if one hobbyist does not get what I get, there are many factors that could cause this, (i.e., How you treat her, how much you spend on them, Chemistry and other factors). No one does not have a gun pointed in their forehead to meet those that I have rated too high based on your standards but not mine though.

Two good examples of where I could have given two providers and 8-9 in Looks but a 1-2 in Performance are The Legendary Adult Film Actress a.k.a. Pornstar JR. Carrington ($1K+) and independent local provider Athena Angel ($300+) that for many they are excellent providers but for me they would not based on my criteria and requirements but not because they aren’t good providers. The same applies to Agencies I don’t see because their photos are mostly fake, they change the providers at the last minute, and they have hidden fees and other particulars. But since I indeed DO my own research, (i.e. check all review boards, correspond with legitimate hobbyists, Agencies, Porn stars or independent friends and the providers themselves) I don’t have that many failures like I usually did when I started were there wasn’t any Internet but just magazine and a phone number w/o one knowing who is talking on the other side. I am 40 years old and I feel I am getting good meetings lately due to research and insights from credible hobbyists that share their information that is the bottom line and the reason why these boards were made for. What I might see in looks like a 8-9 it might be a 1-2 for others, is for that reason that no one should make a decision based on a singular review but on several and whomever does such things could be in for a surprise.

Finally, I leave it up to the Moderator of this board to ask me to remove myself from this board of to stop posting reviews as well. I did it for the 10 years and ever since I knew of this infamous board, I have proceeded to SHARE MY ADVENTURES AND EXPERIENCES publicly.

PS. Etellier, what I think aggravates you is that I asked you since you are married and are meeting providers, If your wife can do the same and if you felt OK going home to your beloved wife and risking or exposing her to any STD’s contracted by your rendezvous on the streets of NYC?

If you did your home work you would know that Seth is the real deal, he has no connections to agencies. I am sure that he does get good deals, but then again he does HIS homework. He has been a great help to many on this board. Everything that Seth has said to me has come true. is he a plant, probably not. Does he take advantage of his incredible knowledge of the hobby, you bet. As far as what he does with his own money is his business and no one elses

This sounds to me like an agency/provider that is not getting THEDOCTORSW's business or that has a personal vendetta or hidden agenda against him and at the same time discouraging others from meeting does he reviews.

I am new to this board but have been around and have seen some of the ladies that he and others have provided good reviews on and although I do not get as much mileage as he and others do it comes real close.

Give the guy a break; he has not done anything to you unless indeed you are an agency/provider he does not use.

As for your point about ads, how can ads can be construed as "shilling"?  Any discriminating reader should know that ads, availability posts, recommendations or endorsements on the forums are just that, biased advertising.  They should be taken with a large grain of salt--regardless of who posts them.  Decisions on visiting a provider should be based solely on her reviews.  The review record, if robust, doesn't lie.

As for your point about doctors alleged inflated review history,  your analysis was incomplete. You gave us his average rating for all his reviews, and claimed it was high.  However, you need to give the other side of the story, what is the average rating of each woman he reviewed?  

If he consistently reviews several points higher than the average for a given provider, then you might have a point.  Or if he is the only one (or one of a small number) who has posted for the provider, you might also have a point.  Is this the case?  

This board has a built in mechanism for "overly positive" reviewers or shills, that mechanism? You and I, other reviewers.  If doctor is truly a shill, and pumps up a woman to the heavens in a "new" review, guess what joeblow69 is going to say when he is the first to follow doctors positive review?  "Much ado about nothing", and JoeBlow69's ratings are going to reflect that.  Over time, there will be an average.  Doctor's hyped review will stick out like a sore thumb, clear outlier.  

I agree that provider self-posts and shills are real.  In Seattle, we saw this happen on TBD (when reviews and discussion were still mixed).  One guy always posted hyper-positive reviews on providers, never providing any details, always using the same agency.  He kept insisting that he was just a naturally positive guy, and enjoyed all women, and was loyal to this agency for personal reasons.  Come to find out, his "personal reasons" were a discount on all his sessions (especially of new providers) booked through this agency.

Sure, there are some bad apples out there who will try to manipulate the system for their own gain, but in general, when you have a review system that works on the principles of statistics, corruption is tough to pull off.  Once a provider has at least 4 or 5 reviews from reviewers who all have a decent track record, you can start to get a good picture.

So here is my advice for anyone concerned about shills or self-posts:

-Read the reviews, don't rely on recommendations or posts made on the forums.
-Don't just look at the ratings for a provider, look to see how many reviews she has.  If she has only a few, (1-5) be wary.  The more reviews, the better.
-Look to see how many reviews her reviewers have written.  3 reviews, all from guys with 10-20 reviews, is more credible than 6 reviews, all made by guys with only one review, hers.  
-Scan the reviews of the reviewer to get a feel for his style.  Some people are just more critical and objective than others.  For various reasons (often discussed here) many men are unwilling to take the gloves off in a review (repeat visits, politeness, mileage, boasting etc).
-Review, review, review.  If you suffer the misfortune of getting sandbagged by a pumped-up review, be damned sure to add a review of your own that reflects your own opinion of the experience.  Again, the more reviews, the better.

Seth and I have been email buddies for over a year, and I can tell you that he is 100% legit, and has seen every single pornstar he reviews, and has paid for them out of his own pocket.... I know this to be a fact.  I also know, through email, the owners of most of the agencies that specialize in pornstars, and Seth does not shill or work for any of them... To them, he is a very goog client, and like any good business, they treat him well and give him the respect he deserves, but he gets nothing for free.

Seth has an enthusiasm for this hobby that carries over into his reviews, and he makes it a point to give credit where credit is due, so he thanks the agencies for making a fantasy come true.  There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, and it certainly isn't "shilling".  As to the comment that most of his reviews rate the girls highly, the fact is  Seth does his homework, through all the hobbyist contacts he's made, and those pornstars that don't measure up, performance-wise, he doesn't book... so naturally the ones he does see will tend to get high grades... it's as simple as that.  

Plus, Seth generously shares his information with fellow hobbyists, both on the boards and through emails.  You wouldn't believe the amount of email requests he gets, and he dutifully responds to each and every one.  Post a question about Seth on ANY board on the web dedicated to this hobby, and 98% of the responses will be highly favorable.

My question is this... why does it bother you so much?  His reviews are primarily concerned with pornstars, which comprises a very small percentage of TER, and yet you've not only obviously kept track of his reviews and messages, you've taken it on yourself to become the "posting police" and made a point to attract attention to it to the board moderator, whose job it is to approve everything that is posted here and so far hasn't seemed to find a problem with them.

My suggestion would be that if you dont' believe Seth's claims are genuine, either don't bother reading his posts, or just don't use them to make a decision about which pornstars to see.

I don't know what your problem is but Seth (aka THEDOCTORSW) is real and he has the pictures to prove it. His pics of his PSE are on the Yahoo Club site (see his post for more info). Take a look at his shots of Miko Lee. The last 4 or 5 pictures show her holding her panties to the camera and on them she wrote a special note for him - with his handle. The last couple of shots she is wearing those special panties.

if I bothered to post, my results would be very similar to his (without the porn star factor). I have not had an under 7 meeting in a long time. I pay TER my $20 and then do my research (is this a shill for TER?). Only see highly rated providers with at least 3/4 reviews. Make sure they provide the type of GFE session I enjoy, and then do my best to make the session enjoyable for both of us. The Doc's posts are interesting and informative, and I can always check out the full reviews if I so choose. No reviews, no Purelust.  Still can't fathom the animosity that some of you bring to the boards. Geez guys, I know a lot of you hate my posts, so skip them. It really isn't that hard to do. I don't take it personally, why do you?

Have to take the doctors back here. He just hooked me up with a provider that I have been dying to see. I mentioned his name when i emailed her (on his instructions)and she replied back in a half an hour even though she is hard to get a hold of. She mentioned the doctor by name! Trust me, he's legit!!! Thanks again Doc!!!
