I budget myself to a ceiling of $300 per hour. I have been happy with most as I screen the reviews first. I see several providers listing at $350-$400 or more.

Just curious for those who spend more-is it always worth it? What is the biggest difference?

Value of a product or service is based on the need of the consumer and their personal preferences. So You might look at me and say wow she's not my type, I wouldn't pay her more than $200 for an hour, then Jimmy Hand Job comes along and says WOW she is perfect, I love everything about her, $300 is more than reasonable for this lady, and he books it and has a great time and walks away feeling like he had a $500 hour.

I hope this helps a little, but perception does play a huge part in this industry. The lady has the perception of what her value is and out there, somewhere, are men who agree with her and find her exceptional among the others.

I can tell you that the best values are always found in the $300-$500 range, hands down.  Once you go above that, you usually pay for a certain look, a name, a title, a film credit or a very unique service.

I can tell you that the times I have ventured in the upper tier, it has always been worth it that once, but seldom worth going back there for.  Also keep in mind that there are guys with very deep pockets. $3,000 to them is like $30 to you and I.

As for spending more,( more than $ 300 p.h. ), from my viewpoint, think its worth it. The benefits ? Looks, performance,personality & reliablility.

Another example of perception in regard to price point is would I pay $300 for a bottle of wine...no. To me it's very expensive urine, HOWEVER, to a wine person, it's perfectly acceptable. I, however, would pay $300 for a great pair of True Religion jeans, whereas most people would think I was nuts.

Wine is wine and jeans are jeans...it's the perception of value and a lot of other elements that make a person purchase ...or not.

Value and price are not the same and are not equivocal. Price is tangible, value is intangible. Value can be found at any level and as Marie so deftly states, has everything to do with perception. If you are setting a cap for yourself, you really think only in $s. When you want to find value, you express your needs in terms of what brings you the best value for the time you spend. Some guys like stroking to their screens and can't wait to have cam "dates." Others might find that a waste of time and resources. Value is the inestimable worth of the time you spend doing what you really like to do. Trading $s for certain behavior almost always leaves you wanting more (feeling cheated) rather looking forward to the next time.

Look, providers are not like grapefruit off the shelf as in commodities. However grapefruit at the local super markets do have to compete on price point.

Gals, in some areas cannot garner over $250 lest they be considered gouging the market place. While in some big cities $500-600 is an all day affair in pricing. They are some juicy ass grapefruits too. lol

Then perception as mention already, enters the game. Can you get a better grapefruit at Smith's or are they better at Albertson's (using names of local super markets)?

Lastly I guess one should still boil it down to once you have understood the market and what the stand price points are, perception trumps all other issues.

In my area, the norm is $180 - $250 per hour.
I've seen ads of local providers offering $140/$150 per hour but have never availed of those providers.
I've seen a well reviewed TER lady w/ 8 and 9 for $100 half hour rate. True GFE.  And she really performs.
I love living in a low-cost area. I love it.

Truth be told, that is really the only difference that I have found between the two. I rarely pay more than $300 hr myself, not because I can't or won't afford it, but simply because I have rarely found it a good value.

The only times that I ever pay $500 hr or more is when traveling, and usually when traveling AND gambling. On those ocassions I can rationalize the fact that if I can afford to tip the dealer a hundred bucks for the thirty seconds worth of work it takes to deal me a blackjack, than why quibble over a few hundred bucks to get laid?.

  Not only as a general rule can you expect some correlation of price and looks, performance, personality and reliability, but price also correlates to relative exclusivity - the gal with a 1500 minimum is going to have less dates than the hourly appointment specialist, and that benefits the client on many levels.

       Where the higher price does not correlate to these benefits, the market will knock the price down over time.

Not only have you blossomed into a frugile young fellow,but cost effective to boot.

but like my very popular 'student' I rarely find that the market justifies anything over the 300 mark.

However(before i get my ass kicked)certain locales can accomodate a higher median price.

A lot of these ladies either have a sugardaddie (or some other steady thing)or a real job that allows them to be high dollar and low volume, because escorting is not their only source of income.

Drinking lessons, maybe. Spelling lessons, definitely not. lmao

I do have a productive career, and my preference is for low volume. The companionship of a mature gentleman is what I crave, also most are experienced in the art---and I love art, lol

I have to somewhat disagree.  I've had some really excellent times in the $200-$300 range and some of those experiences have been with porn stars.

Money has NOTHING to do with the quality of service in this hobby.  Personality and attitude is EVERYTHING.  Give me a woman who enjoys my company, has a good attitude, a good sense of humor and is willing to be my girlfriend for an hour or three, and I'm happy.  And, I can get that for $200 as easily as I can for $2000 if I'm willing to shop around, check reviews, etc.

As for paying large sums like $2000-$3000 for a "name" porn star - well, I think it's silly.  Have they got something that other women don't?  Do they have some special knowledge or technique?  Unless the answer to one of those questions is "yes", I'll pass and find my fun elsewhere for less, thank you.

However, some guys will have bragging rights. In their minds the pleasure of being with a top porn star is worth the money.

Do they have a pussy, ass and a pair of tits? You bet. Can they use it any better than some of the ladies on here? Maybe not, but they are FAMOUS and fucking a famous porn star can be a high in and of itself.

But i do see your point and if the truth be known...I would be where you are at and we have a similar thought process about this...fucking a famous person is not all that attractive to me either.

I hobby in a few cities. I find each city has different price parameters. In my home town I can find ladies in the $200 to$250 range. In other towns, I can't find anything at that price. Bottom line an 8/8 or a 9/9 may cost you more in one city than another. It's all local.

My experience: My absolute favs I go back for again and again are $200/hr girls. I have seen the $400/hr girls, and they cannot compare. In this area, for me, price seems to be inversely related to the chances I will repeat!

What the more expensive girl gets you (hopefully) is a better environment. A better hotel. In some cases a really nice hotel. That alone can help shape the experience. Usually a lower volume provider, but the benefits of that are difficult to realize. Usually (but not always) less time-sensitive.

I would limit the ceiling to $400, with some rare exceptions. I do not have the high end experience, and as mentioned by others, I have found some amazing values in the $250 range.

Also as stated, it is a perception of value. If you want fat, dumb, dumpy and ugly with an attitude, then you'll be willing to spring extra for that and be happy.

No reason to change it.  Personally, I have a somewhat higher ceiling, and have found that there is no correlation between price and service.  Looks may factor into ladies being able to set higher fees, and also reputation.  Also remember that many ladies will set their fees higher to limit the number of potential new clients (if they have a solid core of regulars), or to limit their potential clients to the more affluent, whom are more likely to sometimes seek longer, and more lucrative, engagements.

Bottom line, though:  If your model is working for you, no need to change it.  If it ain't broke, don't fix it...

Honestly, if I had to pick between a nice car & a nice watch, or some time with a lady, I'm not sure which way I'd lean.  I really like both sides a lot, so I'd probably give up one of my other vices to generate cash.

It also depends on how much time you are looking for. Often, ladies who prefer extended amounts of time structure their rates to discourage 1 or 2 hour dates.

Plenty of really  nice ladies charging less, no doubt.  BUT for me here is the difference:

When I raised my rates from $3 to $4 years ago my experience with clients got 100% better.
I was less busy which makes dates more like a treat than a job which I think helps with my disposition and certainly my happiness quotient.
Possibly higher prices ladies being less worked and maybe more appreciative of the few dates they get make things 'better' all around... maybe.

The men I see seem to fall into two groups:
Men who don't consider $4 to be an excessive amount. No unreal expectations so feelings of 'not getting their money's worth'....  

or men who truly want to see ME as an individual and will go that extra bill and maybe save up or forfeit some other treat to visit.. which feeds my ego tremendously.


My phone barely rings and I get few emails but I seem to establish more of a friendship with the men I do see and when I get that email or phone call it is usually from someone informed and ready to set something up as definite.

Always seemed odd to me that one increment would make that happen.  Maybe I'm misinterpreting the cause..

but I think the extra cost puts many people off .. and that seems to be a good thing for me.

I've been told I should charge more but I don't because I feel I don't want to break pockets. I've seen plenty of females charge 250, 300, 400 an hour and satisfaction of the guy is hit or miss. I like to think I provide excellent companionship and I don't charge an arm and a leg but I don't charge couch change either. Sometimes if a female charges a lot more you'll get what you pay for but I don't necessarily think if a female is charging under 200 an hr that "cheap" means that's the quality you get.
