I picked the trilogy up at auction on Wednesday (4 bucks), finished 1 and was halfway into 2 that night, and now I'm a third of the way into 3.

My biggest problem is I have an appointment next week that might end up fruitless as, quite frankly, right now I'm drained, so to speak. *tisk* There IS no such thing as bad porn when it involves sex in an R8 or butt plugs.

It got boring and I got busy with school, I have slight motivation to pick it up again (I do have book 2 & 3) and now with school out I have the time! It just seems too fictional to me... I like reading things that are more plausible than that.

To me, it was like reading sexed up soap opera. No interest in #2 or #3.

not gonna lie, to an extent I agree with both of the above. 2 and 3 both had alot of 'are you SURE you're not leaving me?' angst that on it's own felt repetitive, but kind of had to be there to propel the whole "redemption" thing.

Reminds me, especially after the fact, of Ann Rice's Exit to Eden.
