This site is a frequent topic of conversation during many of my encounters, and in conversation with other providers, and I've found that not everyone says it the same way.

When I book TER reviewed Gals I am confident I will be allowed to fondle her Bare ass with no extra charge.

I pronounce it as you do, T E R.

Tear, as in rip (not cry)  or tare.

I haven't gotten so lazy that I can't say three simple syllables. lol

...as I find it avoids miscommunication. Pronouncing it as a synonym just leads to confusion "What did the say? Tur? Why is he talking about tears? Huh??"

Most like USA, CIA or TER make a lot more sense to simply say the letters.

The military makes one develop habits, if an acronym can be made into a word we'll find a way to pronounce it.  I say it like "tier" or "tear drop".  I thought everyone said it that way.

I have also heard it pronounced TURD, but without the "D", which is probably the most grammatically correct.  

... and wish more ladies kept theirs, but I don't say TUR, I say T-E-R.

I once had a Brit refer to the company AOL as "ayole."  I tried not to laugh.

Please forgive my ignorance, but as soon as you brought the military into it, I thought that's where you were going! LOL.

At least, not in my opinion.  Given how frequently this board tends to have nothing but serious and/or negative topics for day and weeks at a time..... something a bit on the light-hearted side is likely welcome to many lurkers.  

and too funny, I did have that very conversation with my mother the other day, and yes I have ZERO intentions of ever getting married again, or at least not until I am older than my mother is now, which is 80

Or maybe it does and the only difference is when someone you like does it, it's 'silly" and when someone you don't like does it, it's "stupid" lol

"Tear" can rhyme with pear, or rhyme with peer.

There is no hard and fast rule when to say it as a word (acronym) or pronounce the letters (initialism.)  

Never heard it pronounced any other way.....

I've only once heard a guy say it like T-E-R and then I immediately felt embarrassed like I'd been saying it all wrong this whole time
