So dealt with a "lady" a few days ago. She got mad at me for texting, rather than calling. I tried explaining I was swamped with meetings. Here's the issue: She didn't tell me how to confirm. I had talked with her prior a few days and did screening etc and everything was great. I had stated I would text her day of to confirm and said my situation. Said I would TRY to call if I could. Asked if email was better and she said no and "ok" to what I had said.

Well I dunno but apparently she decided that since I didn't call, I wasn't making it and found someone else. So there I am all waiting and stuck with a woody. No one else available that I could hurry and seek out (that had a good rep).

Do guys decide how to contact or the "lady" or somewhere mutually agreed upon? I take it if she says "OK" to how I say I am going to contact and gave a good reason, then that is fine and dandy.

she found someone else to pay her for a longer session and her excuse is bullshit.

I agree. It should be agreed upon ahead of time. If she OK's then it's OK if you ask me.

Some prefer text and some prefer calling.

You guys never confirmed an appointment.. also she may have double booked.

but the good ones don't like last minute calls.

That really sucks bc it was for 3 hours. I won't bother with her next time. Too bad bc I had to travel to another city 2 days later. Not even a "I'm sorry, let's try again". Just blaming me later on. I guess I sort of TOFTT in getting stood up.

I won't be seeing her (or trying to) again. I already had a semi regular in the area but thought it would be fun to play with some eye candy.

----Glad I use an Alias so my semi regular doesn't know ha ha. No, not going to tell you the city or I'd be dead!!!

For me I make sure that I have time for my Provider. No Work or running errands for that day. I call on the same day I want to see her. She can see me within 2 hours after I call. She has no problem Texting or Calling. When we decide on a Time I make sure I'm there on the Exact time we agreed on. Never make an appointment with your Provider and not show up. If you can't make the appointment at least call her to let her know. My Provider hates being stood up on appointments. She's even dumped a few of her Regular Clients for not showing up and not calling her to say they can't make the appointment.

It's always best to call an hour before hand to confirm, no matter what the circumstances are. That way there is clear communication and clear confirmation. I always tell guys that if they don't call an hour beforehand I will make other plans.

but Miss Vicki is right. I did all that she said. I tend to be a discent appt with 3 hrs or more. I kind of worry when they decide not to take me. Either an overnight came up or she is bad news.

Not an hour guy. If a girl had a 3 hour and passed on a screened guy, not good in my opinion.

I am trying to do a better job in the 2nd "pm" after she confirms the date.

IE. "What time would you prefer I text or call you the day of our
date for confirmation and hotel information?"

I had a date yesterday who did not respond to my text all day. I drove to her incall at our scheduled time thinking she
was probably not going to make it. 5 minutes prior to our scheduled time she called me. LOL

Great date. Glad I made the drive.

Lately I've gotten some shit for calling, and the gal insisted that I text.  So, there I am texting and while I composing one text to respond to the last, a new text comes in wondering where I am?  This went on for several texts and attempted responses.  I was not very happy about it as a simple phone call would have taken care of all.

Another gal has two phone lines - one for texts only, the other for calls only.

Text, email, call, etc

I agree I think it was an excuse, especially if you warned her you would be too busy to call! Don't you have a back up girl for situations like this?
