Police are supposed to uphold the law, even if they don't agree with it. Yes, they're human, they have urges and needs and foibles like anyone else, etc., etc., but they don't have the luxury of casting the law aside and doing whatever they feel like. When they violate the law, they have to be held accountable.
Ok, so there's obviously a strong sentiment here for legalizing, ahh, sexual services. But what if the cop is a racist and he doesn't feel like upholding laws against discrimination? What if he decides to lie in court to help get a conviction, even if he knows the defendant is guilty? Should he be exempt from punishment? One could argue that he's just following his conscience, after all.
How often do you think policemen get speeding tickets? They break that law constantly. I know a few CHP officers. They drive 90 when going up to Vegas. If they get pulled over, they whip out their badge and are on their way.
What BS. Clinton does a young intern in the Oval Office and gets a free pass. This guy has to resign just like the reporter in Chicago who did an "older" teenager (18 and 19 is a teenaged). I guess you wife and be a liberal not to have to pay the piper.
