I know that once you go into this business, you keep your emotions detached and try to be professional about it.  BUT being human, have any of you felt in love with a regular client? And what did you do? Did you try to avoid it? Or just ignore those emotions.

Or has it never happened to you ...and will never happen because you put up a good mental and emotional barrier from it happening?

I fall in love with every client.  One hour at a time.

For those of you who know me, you know that I am a hopeless romantic. With that said, I would never deny myself the gift of caring for another due to the profession I have chosen.

I am at a point in my life, where I know what I want, as well as what I have to offer and plan on never settling so that I can give my all to that someone special. Regardless of how we meet!

I also love every client, for as long as they are in my presence... and often there is a strong cloud of love surrounding me after they leave... that said, it must be kept in perspective.  This is far from being "in love".

I am in love with love, not with my clients.

Dude, no pun intended, but what's up with that post? I read one truly honest post, "one hour at a time..." Ladies, no disrespect, but this is your biz and there's no time for falling even into heavy like...The average provider can make a 6+ figure income if she is an independent and has not really bad habits... that's more than most of the hobbyists who believe it, struggle to pay those $$$ fees... and higher if they are into kink... I am sorry, but I want 2 hours, no frills, just some good loving... fuck my brains out and send me down the interstate.

It does feel wonderful to be caught up in the moment.

I've never fallen in love at all - in or out of my profession. I guess I just don't have to worry about it. I do my best to genuinely CARE about each and every person I see. I try to remember details about their life and situation and what they like and don't like and what matters to them. It's a real emotional investment, but on a very superficial level. Every so often I do make friends with a client, and I think that's as deep as it's ever going to get with me.

I COMPLETELY disagree.  Yes, it is my biz... and the reason I am in this biz is that I LOVE the feeling of being in love.  Not with X as an individual, but as a unique entity carrying the same divine energies which manifest and animate life itself.  There IS time, because all it takes is being here NOW.

As to the 6+ figure income, you're making a lot of assumptions as to how much a lady works.  Most of us do not operate as if our bodies are factories.

I 'love' my clients for who they are and for how special they are to me.

I'm not looking to 'love' them as in GF's or SO. If it happens to people, then great. Love is a good thing, after all.

It's sorta like being a Mom. I mean, once a Mom, you feel a mom to all kids, not just your own. I would protect a child the same as my own if it were in danger. That's 'love'. Does it mean I want that child for my own?

I find no need to set up a 'barrier' regarding love, or loving.
The only 'barrier' is in regards to some of the mental crap this biz can play with your head. Barriers for the 'bad' things..no barriers for the good things. And 'love' or loving, is a good thing.

But caring for all is great, even on a not-so-deep level!

as 'love' comes in many forms, but one thing I learned in marriage counseling many years ago is that most people equate love with a feeling (not that it isn't), but love is really Action.

By remembering the details of their lives, what their likes and dislikes are, you are demonstrating love - by indicating that they matter to you, and that you care.

I think that that is what most people are looking for and hope to find as that meets a real need. Love beyond that, while it can certainly happen, should not be expected. It's the ol' "lookin' for love in all the wrong places.."

$25k... no way... You should quit and get another job... I can't pay my bar tab on that.

Babe, no disrespect, but 2500 a week is very doable w/o wearing yourself thin (no pun intended)... with $$$ on average that is peanuts and if you come to Chicago, you would find than many women work like "factories" when they can get the work... I know one former SOCAL girl that is doing 5K a week... She's in it for the short time and as she told me once, " I love to fuck..."

Mind your biz and wait for some great guy or gal to swee you up... when you are honest with yourself, love is not only likely, it's there and waiting to open your heart. To these ladies who "play" with the hobbyist emotions to get more cash or return visits, you are going to get "got..."

I hear you... there ARE women who work like factories.  Just not most of us.

ONE appointment per day.  Personal preferance - give everything I have to give to one person.  Three appointments per week is norm.  +/- $300 each = $900 per week.

Oh, and then I take that $900 per week, pay for my incall, advertising, etc...

No disrespect taken.  Ladies CAN make lots of money.  Most of us don't.  We just make enjoyable, solid amounts that take care of our needs.
