I have never understood the advantage of an agency. If a providers feedback is good, why pay an agency fee? Why not only use an independant?

My first US experience was with an agency in Seattle (Elliott Bay)who have been given stellar reviews and I still give them most of my business because I know what I'm getting and they've always provided very high quality companionship ;).  It's not a matter of cost because they are very competative with the local indies too.

a portion of that money has to go to the agency?  In other words, your $$$ agency provider is really a $$  independant provider with added overhead.  Time to move "upcsale" Dawg.

to BE independents.  Simply put, they are less likely fo be flakes.  That makes them more appealing to me.

However, that said, sometimes the young but somewaht flaky women who work through agencies can provide a memorable experience.

But agencies are much more hit-and-miss.  You really don't know what you'll be getting.  Can be fun when you feel like gambling a bit.

A provider I once knew who was as close to a perfect 10 as one could get had sessions with me for $200. She often mentioned another client she saw paid her $1000 per session. She explained to me that "it's all their minds".

The only good use I see in an agency for a lady is a stepping stone.  Most independents that have not had a friend in the biz already, have started with agencies in order to learn the ropes and soon thereafter strike out on their own.

Then there are those ladies that have other full time careers and find it easier to just stay signed with an agency.  The trick is finding a good and reputable agency.

There are a wealth of wonderful agencies that are strict on their criteria on who they sign, services provided and those are worth going to.  On the other hand there are those that will sign anyone willing enough and the quality of that agency shines through because of that for those tend not to be well structured in making sure they are providing good customer service in every aspect.

On the other hand agencies are more of a risk factor too.  They tend to an easier target for LE and there is more of a risk of the agency holding vital information on their clientele.  The risk is there for independents also, but IMHO, not as much if one does their homework.

My Two Cents!

I have two ATFs...one independent, one agency.

The ATF with the agency -- she has talked about becoming an independent, but has not made the move.  I have talked about seeing her outside of the agency, but for whatever reason, she is not comfortable with that.

Also, if you want a last minute engagement, an agency can almost always accomodate.  You may not get to see who you really want to, of course.

I have another ATF who is an independent and I prefer that arrangement, but I want to keep seeing my "agency" ATF also, so I don't let the "agency" factor get in the way.

What difference does it make how the money is distributed?  I meet the SP, the good stuff happens, she takes the $ and all is good.  The services rendered aren't any different than with an Indy and neither is the rate.  What does that have to do with being "Upscale" or in your case; "upcsale"?
