Or not?  For me, there's been a positive correlation.  After starting to devote myself to this hobby, I've happened to have more affairs with civilian girls (non-pros).  In your cases?

I both have a job and a home life where I cannot afford to get into any entangling alliances, nor do I want to. The hobby satisfies my wild side without undue complications.

Do you feel that you are one up on relationships?  I guess it depends on the provider that you see and your personal goals.   Me?  I definitely believe that providers--the professionals ones, the ones that know what they are doing and have the regulars to show for it--they add something to our lives.  Like the way computer nerds imagine Counselor Troy (from the Star Trek Movie).
