How to know if provider is a sting?

I hope this question is permissible. I didn't see anything in the rules about posting, but I never know.

Is it possible for a provider to be forced to become part of a sting operation and, if so, is there a way to find out if customers have been stung?

Local papers might not even show an arrest if she's cooperating. I have always done outcall to me because LE would almost never send a provider into that situation. Stick with well reviewed girls and you'll be pretty safe, they don't want to risk their careers on flipping on a few clients.

There are signs, but nothing is 100 percent. All the LE checks in the world won't keep you out of jail if you are in the room with a cop, but what you SAY or don't say, might get the case thrown out of court for lack of evidence. Bottom line, the DA is the one who decides to prosecute..cops just make the busts to meet their damn quota

Thanks for the reply, London Rayne. The provider is one who had nearly 200 outstanding reviews here on TER. She appears to have stopped advertising, as there's nothing here or anywhere else. I asked her assistant, and was told that she didn't want to expand her client base any further. That does and does not make sense.

I'm probably just worrying too much.

don't take new guys. I know at least 2 DC based that currently aren't taking new guys..

You said she has 20 pages of reviews.. So I wouldn't worry too much.. Hey nothing is 100% guaranteed.  Only death and taxes...  :D

Then you give us the most logical explanation to why a provider wouldn't see a client.

I wouldn't think the police would run a sting for days at a time, that does not make any sense.

I don't know. I'm new to all this. It just seemed odd that a provider would have all of the reviews here removed. I don't know how that works. Does the provider cancel ask for reviews to be removed, or does TER remove them, or both?

If she's as good as her reviews indicated, I could see where she would start to get overwhelmed with clients. If it were a sting, I would think that she'd want to keep the reviews up here to pull in more clients. OTOH, I can't see police devoting tons of man/woman hours to catching a few johns.

It's stupid to make it illegal anyway. If I took her to an expensive restaurant, then to a big-ticket concert, then out for drinks, I could easily spend several hundred dollars on her, and (if I were young) have a reasonable expectation of having sex at the end of the evening, and that would be legal. Skip the dinner, concert and drinks, and just give her the cash, and it's a crime.

You are new to this, but haven't you ever read of a prostitution bust, in your local paper?

The ones I have read about have never been very elaborate.

Here in this small town, I don't bother with the local paper, as it's a joke. In the big city (~1 million) where I lived previously, there wasn't room in the newspaper for prostitution arrests. Between murders, gang drive-by's and politicians going to jail, small crimes didn't warrant coverage. ;)

The reason I asked my initial question was that I was wondering if there was somewhere on the internet where someone who was busted seeing a particular provider might mention that.

The few stories I read about prostitution sweeps were when the cops would target the areas where streetwalkers worked. They did so because of complaints from residents and businesses.

When I found hundreds of escort services online, I was surprised. The more I thought about it, the more I figured that the powers that be must be taking an "out of sight, out of mind" attitude. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry I posted this in the wrong forum.

Then it's not a sting..........because they wouldn't be turning you down. Wait for her to start advertising again and in the mean time enjoy yourself elsewhere.

But, yes...........a flip can happen. And, your first clue is that it would not be her when you show up. It's rare as a well reviewed provider is not likely to risk her business.

Dear Ms. Rayne:
If you were teaching a course at Tulane University, what would be the five most important traits you would tell girls to look for when spotting an undercover cop? Also what type of training courses did you offer when you ran an agency? Also with respect to LE are there any other things that all "good ho's should know"?

where LE agrees to go easy on a gal if she will deliver several of her next dates to LE.

It is rare, but not unknown, and very difficult to detect.

Your best bet is to be a faithful reader of your local board where some of these set-ups have occurred and the busted hobbyist was good enough to drop a dime on her thus sparing his bros.

Need I say more...
Well, yeah. I'm a bit slow on the uptake. ;)

If you mean rush as in rush to choose, that's not the case. I've been reading reviews on this lady since last fall

I mean rush as in they will normally be really pushy as in come right now! Plus there concern is mainly your location because they just want catch one slipping through the cracks.
