Second, isn't it great that science is constantly searching for the answers to Life's Great Mysteries?

Third, why didn't I think up the idea of getting funding to do this kind of research?!?  There's smart, and then there is REALLY smart.

Why doesn't it surprise me it would be the Italians who would figure this one out.  

Priorities in funding - I'd say this is a pretty good place to put money!

As I understand it, a large portion of research funding in the US goes to projects that support military objectives.

Apparently the italians are not worried as much about fighting as loving (and doing it properly).  Besides, didn't they elect an ex-porn star to their parliment?
