Hi, I have just witnessed with my own eyes, how the local LE does street hunt. I'll share with you a few tricks of the trade...
1. Undercover police women will never get inside the car. (Too much risk that they might end up with a violent psycho without back up.) They'll alway try to get you to talk about what you want and how much it's going to cost. Outside the car.
2. You watch the background. You will see unmarked police car s that almost look like a cab, but isn't. You'll see 2 or 3 such cars parked nearby about 25 to 50 yards away, and watching the undercover police women.
3. Why I do this? Because the excitement of hunt! The forbidden apple is alway sweeter than the ones allowed! At least to bad boys. This is just advice. Nor recommendation!
Other clues: 1. A tow truck parked on a nearby side street. 2. The LEette will stay in one location instead of walking up and down the block like a real girl would to avoid a loitering bust. 3. There will be a male hanging around in the close vicinity. 4. The LEette will be too pretty, well made up, or well dressed. Real streetwalkers are not well off and it will show. Look especially at the shoes. The better the shoes the riskier the date.
Man are YOU ever going to be in a bind (literally) one of these days.
LE in fact DOES all of the things that you say they don't do. HOW they evolve their stings depends on the area, the situation and the times.
There was a time when you could spot LE from a mile off, because SHE was the hot blonde (10+ on the scale) compared to an average 5 on the street. No longer. Now, they make an effort to fit in.
There was a time when LE unmarked cars were Plymouths that even had little chrome hubcaps instead of full wheel covers. No longer. Undercovers now have nondescript cars, some ride bicycles, and even some look like homeless people pushing shopping carts.
Sometimes, after travelling a half a block in the car with the john, LE will pulll over the car and even 'arrest' the girl (undercover LE) so she won't be 'burned' on the street.
Now .. you COULD find an area .... sort of stake a girl, wait until some other guy picks her up ... then see what happens to HER ... see if they drive off, see if they go to a motel, see if they BOTH come out later, together and she goes back to work. EXCEPT ... if you do that in an "LE Active" area, LE will most likely see you do that and decide that they want YOU. They have no problem busting an actual prostitute AND her john if they observe that kind of behavior... and while it's possible that you prevail in court (if the girl is willing to testify that she isn't a prostitute LOL double lol) they still have your car.
The surest way to get busted is to assume that LE is as dumb as you'd like them to be and that you have the edge because you think you're more clever than they are.
I'm thinking of Washington DC here, but this would apply to other cities as well:
The downtown stroll (K & L streets) is well served by the Metro subway system. This transit system is clean and safe. Leave your car elsewhere. They can't very well impound a subway car LOL.
Also, many of the downtown hotels, like the Statler, and an easy walk from this area.
You must have been watching some reruns of Dragnet!! What a hoot this post is! It reminds me of the TBD where they have a page on how to detect a cop posing as a client.... in one spot they say the suspicious client will ask you to clap and do a little dance... HA!HA!HA!HA!
Watch C.O.P.S., they show undercover stings of street walkers and johns all the time... maybe then you'll learn something!
