TER General Board

How long does a VIP need to be here before they can review?

Due to TER high credibility in their reviews compared to most boards, they must be more stringent in their review process.
Even though reviews are merely fantasies and the only thing providers offer is talk, it makes a much better story, if the reviewer actually met the lady.
I heard covert ops were working on the problem.
Don't take it personal. Think of the greater good of all.
        Hang in There.

Are you kidding me?  I signed on and paid for a VIP account a few weeks back as I wanted to do some research on a provider in Vegas.  I'd been told that this was the place to come.

Now that I'm back from my trip and satisfied with the service I received, I wanted to give the lovely young lady a well deserved review.  And instead my review is rejected because I haven't been on the board long enough?

Seriously?  What kind of board is this?  I've never had problems with the other three sites I pay my money to, what's going on here???  I have to build "cred" here as a hobbyist before my opinion matters?

Sorry for the tone, more frustration and incredulity than anger.  I'm just shaking my head.  And doubting this will even post.

try building a small posting history and resubmitting. that should help.

I dont know what to tell you. I never had that problem. I consider TER to be a very valuable resource. I use it all the time to check out phone numbers. I did not have that problem when I submitted my reviews. I hope you dont give up just yet. I have had two reviews rejected, but I got what I felt like was a reasonable reason for them being rejected. I did not know you could be rejected because of not being on the board long enough. Thas sounds like a bunch of shit. Maybe it was a mistake. Try resubmitting it ans see what happens. Good luck and I hope you will hang around a while and get as much out of TER as I do.

VIP is so that you can read reviews.

The factors that ought to be considered are the reviewer's history and the history of the gals he is reviewing.

If you have no reviews and you review a gal with no reviews, TER will probably hold up the review until she gets at least one or two corroborating reviews.

How well and convincingly you write a review is also a factor.  Have you read and made sure you followed all the review guidelines?

Your participation of the boards is a factor that allows TER to consider your credibilty, but it is not a prerequisite for a review to be published.  I suspect that 90% of the reviews are written by hobbyist who never post on the boards.

The best place to take any beef is right up to
Administration and ask them point blank if participation on the boards is not required.  I would tend to doubt that very much.

I had the same (and other) review posting problems. I still make mistakes in my reviews which delays them. But this is an aside.

There is no OFFICIAL way to work on a review and save a draft. Is it OK to put a big, up-case "DRAFT ONLY - DO NOT MODERATE OR POST YET" in the essay portion? Do you think that will work?

Related is, how many times can you use the [EDIT] button on the list of reviews or is it a time thing (7 days? 1 month?)?  At some point the edit button changes to [VIEW] button.

I spend so much time filling in the profile info that I don't have time left to write what I want to write. And I sometimes have to shut a browser rather abruptly, if you catch my drift. Review really needs an official (programmed) "save as draft" option.

I've had about 6 reviews rejected-however, I immediately contacted TER and asked courteously what the problem was-they replied each time; I corrected the review per the info they provided and all were then accepted-I would suggest this to all who have rejections-1rob

most first time reviewers are not accepted, even if you see an already established provder.

and I don't think it's particularly great writing, although I'll try and get basic punctuation and grammar right. I've seen a few rants and raves about rejections, so I'll speak up for the admin.

For background, I was a non-VIP member for a couple of years before I started  getting into the hobby and writing reviews, and I was writing reviews before I ever posted on the boards.

Hope this helps.
