Twice a week ?
Once a week ?
Once every two weeks ?
Once a month ?
Once in every 3 - 6 months?

And how much do you spend in a month ?

Employment is even improving.
You're gonna be living in a recession as long as you believe there is a recession going on.

For someone who did 6 reviews in the month of June 2004, then perhaps took a vacation from the hobby until throwing up 4 more reviews in the month of March 2010, it seems to be a weird question.

Plus, it's really nobody's business how much I spend on the hobby. I can assure you what ever it is for the moral majority it is way more than should be spent.

My answer though is I've cut back during the recession, for more than economical reasons.

I asked because many ladies in my area are offering discount.

And FYI, just because I was not active in TER does not mean I didn't have ATFs and regulars I see from time to time.  If you form an opinion of an individual base on the number of reviews on TER, you must be pretty narrow-minded. Just move on if you don't like my question.

in your ass!  Wall street success has nothing to do with anything but wall street.  Fortunately like you said, the recession is only a figment of our imaginations.  We're all doing better than ever!  A lot of EX hobbyists are no longer doing this. You're an idiot, and we will be living in a recession for as long as there is no work or money to pay the bills, let alone buy a GF for a couple hours!

To answer your question, My hobbying is down, but not from economical reasons. I went through a few years where I hobbied at a ridiculous pace, somewhere on the order of ten times a week.

I just can't keep that pace up anymore, due to business responsilities and traveling to places like Oklahoma, where the hobbying market is limited, my hobbying is down by probably half.

I used to spend on average of $300 per week to see a provider.  I now spend about $220 per week to see a provider.  The quality is still there but I found a wonderful agency that has great talent for $220 per session.  I call them almost every week consistently.

So I spend less and still have a great time.  That's a smart agency and smart ladies.  They keep busy and make more than they would if their rates were higher because the lower rate attracts business instead of a higher rate that pushes away business.

Everyone wins.

Wall Street has been significantly "up".

Retail sales: "up"

Employment:(will there EVER be enough good, well paying jobs, and do they ever come fast enough?)

We've all delt with effects from the 2008 melt down/bail-out/bank crisis(what ever they're calling it now). Many Americans suffered more significantly than others; but we avoided total calamity and the graphs are pointing in a positive direction.

BTW: I'm NOT an investor. I have NO money in the Stock Market, and my only realestate investment is my home which I succeded in "paying off" over the last 18 years rather than use as a "personal" ATM machine.

He thinks your question is "weird." It might be a good idea to run your questions by him first, but he has no way to get your PM.

Personally, I've cut back, some due to the economy. Some due to increased LE activity in my area, which has been reinforced monetarily, by the INS, under the guise of cracking down on human sex trafficking of minors. And, not feeling a great need to since most of the menu items I'm looking for, I find at home.

The OP's was not one of them.

By the way INS is no more, it has been nenamed ICE. Same tactics, same bullshit excuses for trying to round up sex workers "for their own good and safety".

You're still a mangina and it pained me greatly that we both liked Gran Torino.

Just kidding. rofl

the only people benefiting from that are wall street bankers, hedge funds and big investors.  If you choose to use that as your indicator of the good times to come...good luck with that.
Now I'm done, this belongs on the P&R board!
(except for the part about hobby $$$ being down as is food money, rent money, etc)

BTW, after a long dry spell, I'm finally gonna see someone again this weekend. I need to get laid. But the only reason I'm forking out the bucks is that Goldman-Sachs, and Exxon had a better than expected quarter  LMAO!!!

My visits have increased simply because I finally figured out how to ascertain which providers I would truly enjoy; got a better handle on my own tendencies; and developed methods for reducing the risks of booking providers who might be harmed (unintentionally) by my very act of booking them.

Even so -- it isn't a lot of visits numerically.

I went hell-bent for 1 1/2 years. I just don't have much interest anymore. For good reason mind you but even if that reason didn't exist i'm not sure that my drive would be what it used to be. The addiction is simply wearing off. I do have my eye on a Couple of youguns still though. For some FMF stuff. :-D

discourage participation on the boards, and would want to see as many people participate as possible. Jumping down someones throat for a seemly legitimate question is not a way to encourage participation or discussion.

But, I could be wrong! :)

Go back and read my post you so fastly jumped all over to make your wannabe comment. I did not 'jump down someones throat", but perhaps you would "wannabe" the victim of that.

I flat told the OP how much I spend on HO's is nobody's business. And of all other posters on this thread I see nobody answering that question either. Why? Because it is just plain common sense and private. Surely you get that?

As for my comment I DID tell the OP I cut back but not because of economic reasons. What, about that, do you not understand?

Maybe it is you as a "wannabe mod" by "jumping down" my throat.

There was no bonus and no salary increase last year. In the grand scheme of things, I have no reason to whine, and I'm not. It just meant that something had to give. There was no way that I was willing to spend less time with my favorite. If anything, I am seeing her a good bit more. OTOH, this meant that little was left for spending time with anybody else. So that's where I cut back.

It HAS recovered some 70% from its peak before the crows came to roost.

Perhaps you'd prefer a 20 year Recession like the Japanese got after things went wrong for them after their early 1980s feeding frenzy.

Hey! I'm a work-a-day guy, and I've seen some pretty anemic pay periods over the last 12 months; but if personal friends are excited about the Market, and I'm simultaneously seeing more billable work for me in my totally unrelated field. Then I figure we're headed in a good direction.

"Employment is even improving."

Where in China????????

That is pure unadulterated horse crap.

10.2% peak unemployment vs. a current 9.7% is not a significant difference. This is confounded by the fact that people who have stopped seeking employment or who are underemployed are no longer counted amongst the unemployed. A seasonal temporary spike further reduces the unemployment ranks due to Census Bureau hiring up to 500, 000 temporary workers.

Factoid: The Dow is over 11,000 again but volume is significantly down. That must be good !
