There is already a method if someone doesn't want to get a visit from Aunt Flow .....it is called a Depo-Provera shot.
Of course there can be some side effects that come with that.( well don't all meds/shots have side effects ?)
Depo Provera may not be recommended for women who are planning on becoming pregnant in the near future, are concerned about weight gain, have liver disease, gallbladder disease, or a history of depression.
Health risks-
Studies released in 2004 show that Depo Provera is associated with a loss of bone density resulting in an increased risk of osteoporosis. The bone loss appears not to be reversed when the woman goes off Depo Provera.
Some women have allergic reactions to Depo Provera.
If a woman becomes pregnant while using Depo Provera, and continues her pregnancy, there may be an increased risk of premature birth.
The effects of Depo Provera on breast cancer are still unknown.
Health Benefits:
Women on Depo Provera have a decreased risk of endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, and pelvic inflammatory disease. You may have less menstrual cramping and pain, fewer periods, and less chance of anemia.

When I got on the depo there was no weight gain, in fact at that time I was at my lowest weight ever.
After 5 years on Depo my doctor advised me to take a break from the shots.I went on the pill and that is when I put on 10 pounds.
Then I had a hiking accident adding another 15 pounds.
Thank god most of the weight went to the boobs so I went from a DD to a FF...... so that works for me and my clients
How my butt stayed so small and tight ?? I don't know, but thank you god
Personally I haven't experienced any bone loss.
I do take supplements with extra calcium , I also eat healthy and work out..
All those factors help to prevent bone loss.
Bone loss is something any mature Adult can experience even if they were never on the depo shot.
Personally I think all those warnings for any meds – “It may Cause……….”
Is just a way to protect the companies from being sued.
I mean they do these studies,ok but wouldn’t everyone in the study have to be the same???
Like - exact diet, exercise program , life style, medical history in family , ect ect all factors that they use.
Well realistically I don’t think every person they use can be the same.
So for me there is no real proof in those studies.
I way out what I think is best for me. Until now my choices have never failed, so I guess I am doing something right
but that is me, I am not the norm.... "normal" LOL LOL

There was a reason our body does what it does, may it be a curse or not...
I don't like the idea of taking a pill like that(or that injection). I rather take a week of every month then ruin my chances of getting pregnant in the future....or in fact get pregnant when i don't want it!
I think that having a week of every month helps you appreciate the other 3 weeks a lot more!
And the first guy you meet afterwards is probably going to appreciate being the first
