TER General Board

How did you first hear about TER?...

I was with a favorite and we were chatting about nothing in particular when she told me that she heard that there were sites that had ratings on providers (She is an UTR provider who has never been on the boards or reviewed.)

I said you have to be kidding me, but she said no, it's true.  She said it was called Dog Eat Dog or something like that, so I did all kinds of searches on Goggle before coming with TBD, and then in time found this site as well.

By the way, there's also a site where women "out" guys who two-time them.  It's called "He's a Dog"  It's a good thing my ex doesn't know about it.

I read this site and did a lot of research on women without ever joining.  I found this board to be a lot more interesting and easier to use than TBD anyways.

It wasn't until I met Ms. Fisher that she convinced me to join and leave reviews.  The rest is, as they say, history.

How about the rest of you hound doggies?

I found TER using a search engine.  I would say I "googled" it but google may not have even been around when I found TER some time in 2000 or early 2001.

I started the hobby in the days before Al Gore invented the Internet so I used to use the yellow pages and newspaper classifieds.  It was amazing that I was only ripped off a couple of times in those days and saw numerous women.  The thing in those days is that you really didn't know what she looked like or what you were going to receive in service.

In the early days TER was mainly a Southern California board.  There were a lot of interesting characters that frequented the board that have disappeared.  However, there are always new interesting people that come along but I do miss some of the old posters.

Agency manager put me on to it so that I could post good reviews and get her (then) new agency more exposure.  Turned out to be a win-win.

I'd been having mixed results in LA and Vegas off the web until i met an excellent FBSM provider. After several sessions, the subject happened to come up, and she introduced me to TER. She eventually became my first review, and its been a wild ride ever since.

It was summer of 2002 and a provider I booked with in my internet infancy mentioned something about a website that had reviews of the providers.

Three months later I learned the URL from my first reviewed provider. I've been typing ever since.

One of the few worthwhile things I learned in high-school (early 70's) was that Boston area escorts advertised in an alternative paper called the Boston Pheonix.

Did not do anything with this info for 30 years, mostly out of fear of LE problems.  Aug 2004 I had a sudden urge to start hobbying...and found the Boston Pheonix is still published, so I got me one.

Read thru the ads, which led me to the Pheonix online ads.  The ad that caught me eye the most was deepthroat Darlene of RS.  Did some online searches, found the agency and stumbled onto TER.  Reading TER was the key that got me past my fear of LE risk.  Darlene was my first (and favorite until she retired).  Wrote my first review immediately to get VIP access...and been hobbying regularly ever since.

Had some hit and miss agency experiences & figured that was as good as it got.
While preparing for a solo trip to Vegas I googled "Las Vegas Escort" and started through the results when on some ladys page I saw a TER badge and a "see my reviews" link.
Reviews?!?  WTF?  How the hell does THAT work?
Anyway curiosity drove me to click, I bought VIP the same day.  The quantity and quality of the ladies I met as a result inspired me to name the trip the January 2006 "Tour of sin and depravity".
Janury 2007 in the planning stage now!  WooHoo!

I was viewing a model's profile on a local agency web site when I saw the words "check out my reviews on TER". The rest is history.

I am a provider and had not heard about this site until about one or two years into seeing people. Before it had been backchanneling and a few advertising sites but nothing major. I never posted my number anywhere. Then out of the blue one day my pager starting buzzing nonstop. So I called and talked to them all. I asked one where he got my number. He said it was posted on the internet. I said no it wasn't, I only give it out in emails or private conversations. He told me about TER and I went to look and low and behold there was a review with my pager number. I apologized to the guy and I think ended up seeing him later on that evening. What started out as a confusing converstation ended up being a good thing ;-)

I called the agency that managed her, and they told me about TER - and suggested that I write a review... and the rest, well it is history.

First few hobbying (I didn't know I was hobbying at the time) times out of the box were a mixed bag of bait & switch, upsells, rip-offs and non-FS.  The gods of poontang finally had mercy on my ass and I eventually hooked up with a great woman in San Diego.  She was the beautiful lady in the pics and she rocked my world as advertised.  As she was leaving and I showered her with thanks for finally being what I expected, she then realized I knew nothing of TER, etc.  She showed me the light and with near 100% certainty I have not had a bad date since...

while trying to see if there was any information on the web about Priscilla, my very first provider experience back in 1995 at Play Woman in Buenos Aires. She was special. Some combination of words brought up a link to TER.

so yeah, she told me about TER and to post 411 messages on the local board.  Oddly enough she's voluntarily delisted for personal reasons so they rejected my review of her.

My first encounter with a pro was about ten years agon when I responded to a personals ad for a woman looking for a "generous" MWM.  I didn't even know then that "escort" meant call girl.  Somewhere along the line I learned what the word meant so I googled it and found my way here.  I knew there were steet walkers and I knew there were call girls, but I never imagined this world existed until about 4-5 years ago.

Three years ago, I was in Vegas for a week of sports betting and poker with a group of friends. As we walked down the Strip, we couldn't avoid the groups of people thrusting personals flyers and photo cards with phone numbers on them. Immediately thought they were a scam, but curiosity and a couple of very nice pictures prompted me to do further research.

Eventually found TER and a selection better than I could ever have imagined before.

Found it from a friend who had been surfing on the internet.  Glad I found it.  It is the only place I look any more.
