Would you as providers be hesitant to see someone who is a retired LE officer?

Just hypothetical of course :-)

but they normally tell me they are retired when screening and save the "retired from" part for after they're "in"

sneaky bastards are some of my best clients

even if they told me during screening, i'd still see them because after all, we should all be forgiven for our sins.

I have seen an MP a couple of times, he is active still but assured me that the military has no involvement in vice off bases

He only had one reference and so I did take a big chance, but he was so upfront from the beginning I didnt thaink any one looking to bust me would tell me that was what he did!

has worked out fine

nope. if they passed all my screening then the fact that they were LE (past or present) would be irrelevant. coppers need love too. ;)

From past experience I've seen at least 3 that was not local without any problem. If he was not local and honest about who he was and I was able to run a search on him mainly his telephone # I wouldn't have a problem meeting with him but not without a strip search.

I do agree that police officers need attention too, however I would have to say no. In my mind it leaves the door open for abuse of power and it may not be what he does now(retired of course), but who he knows(current officers).

Let's face it, if you ticked him off or refused to see him for whatever reason, I don't want to have to watch my back any  more than we have to do now. The least amount of stress is a good thing.

You're right, everything is about who you know!

I do see one officer (a statie from another state), and pretty much figured that if he's outside of his jurisdiction and otherwise passes screening easily, then it's fine. I have had absolutely no problems with him :)

But! Combine the creepy stalker-like tactics that some men have shown with the ability to pull all the worst strings... trouble to say the least! I'll definitely be thinking long and hard before taking on any new officers...
