So in my experiences of late the looks rating has become a total farce. But as I'm told it's all subjective, well if a 60 year old woman with way too much cheap plastic surgery including rock hard tits with thick blue veins can score an 8-10 in looks then subjectivity needs to be banished.
Which brings me to MILFS. The term (I guess in my subjective knowledge) comes from stories about guys in high school or college. When an 19 year old has a buddy with a super hot mom, then she is definitely a MILF, however the friends mom is somewhere between 30-40 years old. By this fact a woman 50-60+ years-old is not the friends mom but in fact his grandmother. So a GILF. If i was in charge you wouldn't be able to mention you saw a MILF if she's 50-70 and so on. But i'm not in charge so I will just have to expect guys with mommy issues will continue to call grannies MILFS
Personally I'm 67 and I'd rate myself a solid 5, I'm in very good shape for my age, skin not to bad, and I may or not been of average looks, so yes a 5. But for 500-700 I don't want to engage with a female version of myself.  
One last thng and then I''ll shut up. There is not 1 single sex worker that is a 10 in looks period and objectively. A 10 means you are more beautiful than almost all other women in the world. Three may be a handful of 9's and of course definitely some 8's. But a 6 is probably what a lot of 9 and 10' rated women are really. And a 6 means your hotter than 60% of all women, and that my friend is very beautiful and a 7 is a headturner on her bad days.
So I said it and now I'll crawl back in my hole. Oh and by the way I've overrated looks myself out of guilt and kindness but I wish I didn't. TER is supposed to be a place to get real info about the ladies

I’ve seen more than a handful of MILFs in the last ten years! The ones I have seen have had overall ratings in the high 7’s to low 8’s, with looks in that range as well. Well it would be a waste of time to argue a point on this subject because everything is so subjective. I've lived in 2 cities NY and LA so if I go to Erewhon (a very upscale Whole foods) there are lots of 8's and 9's I mean gorgeous sexy women that have on very very revealing clothes, especially the yogo pants with NO UNDERWEAR, camel toe city and a bra top.  
These women, well maybe for $1500 and up, don't exist in the sex workers milieu.

I think that 90% of looks ratings of 8-10 are often EXTREMELY inflated, especially coming from a guy that’s a 2 in looks.

Odd that you would attack me given that my review scores support your hypothesis. I've been posting on TER since 2010 under this account, and prior to 2010 under another account. In that time I've given one review with a looks score of 10. Only one. And when I review hags such as Caroline (and plenty of others) I score them appropriately. Given this conduct of attacking your supporters I renew my suggestion that you're having another really bad day and should get some help.

For consideration to the conversation . I have had a few meetings over the years when on the first meet with the provider she had a immaculate appearance. Perfect hair , nails, clothes and attitude the whole nine yards. On the second or third meeting things were not quite the same.  In both cases I did not go back and review the provider at a lower score .
Things like this could explain some rating differences.

looks are subjective.  On my scale a 9 is above-average.  You're saying the car-date provider is a 9, which is above average in looks, but I think most guys here would disagree with you.  This won't be the first girl you have over-scored in relation to their looks average from other mongers, but you are entitled to find above-average beauty wherever you want.   It's your opinion and you're entitled to it.  I'm sure she is flattered that you would give her a 9 on my scale.

First - everyone has the right to rate looks according to their preferences and tastes. Just because you feel that a 20 year old is more attractive than a 40 year old doesn’t mean everyone feels that way.  Some men, especially seniors, prefer a more mature look.

Since it seems we settled on 45 as the borderline age measure what if the woman says shes 38 when its clear shes over 45. I expect women to under-state their age since it's such a common practice. I personally don't agree with it but I have no control. If a woman looks good I have no problem with whatever age she is. I have a problem w 10's also because to me a ten is the most amazing, incredible, perfect score. During the Olympics (yes I am aging myself) in the late 70's (I was maybe 11yrs old) Nadia and Olga were these gymnasts that scored 10's. I think they both did. And obviously these 10s had nothing to do w looks but the idea of what a ten was was a once in a lifetime thing. These women train 7 or 8 hours a day for pretty much their whole life and maybe got a ten twice. That to me is what a 10 rating of anything means. So really you can't know what your ten was till right before you die, then you can look and decide.
