I think that what happens is a lot of guys are good for one round only, and they feel like they're "leaving before the show is finished", so to speak, if they pop during the oral part of the evening's entertainment.  They feel like they're not getting the full experience, not to mention not giving the lady the expected conclusion.

It's an artifact of having specific expectations for a date, much like a scene in a porn vid.  There's BJ to start, maybe some DATY, then intercourse in various positions, and when the guy gets off, scene's over, go to the next thing on the DVD.  I'm not criticizing this -- it's certainly one way to do things, and it can be a lot of fun, but it's by no means the only way to do things.

Speaking for myself, I do *prefer* intercourse to oral sex.  I think it's a great way to get things started, and can be tons of fun, but it just doesn't push my buttons in the same way.  I've met a very few ladies who seem to be wired in a similar way, although in my exerience, ladies are more likely to say, "Hey, it's all good".

I do my best to find providers that allow as many shots on goal as time will allow, however there are occasions when only one is offered. Since I love the feel of full body contact, it would be a shame to end the session with only the little head having been entertained.

Sometimes things happen on a "Date" that are truly not in my mind.... but happen.  In a couple of instances, the BJ was there - as an appetizer... but they wound up being the main course... then there are the times where we just keep going!  For me, those are really amazing and pleasurable.... and what I have found is that if that is the case - it is usually because I have connected with the lady - on some level...  and she is having a good time too.

Hmmm, I've never had a lady stop me during DATY. She may provide encouragement (some quite vocal!) or even suggestions, but I've never been told to stop. Light and gentle teasing is much better than becoming Pavlov's sloppy lap dog. Open communication is key to finding your partner's preferences. Let her guide you the right amount of pressure and possible combined digit play.

To me, the kind of orgasm I achieve from oral sex is completely different from the orgasm I achieve from regular sex.

The orgasm I get from oral sex is truly an out of body experience. That's the only way to describe the intensity of it. I generally start laughing uncontrollably due to the tension release.

The orgasm I get from regular sex is more fulfilling in a different sort of way, even though it never reaches more than a mere shadow of the intensity of the orgasm I get from oral sex.
