For starters, does this mean the guy is tricked into a situation in which he is at risk of LEO? Regardless of how remote LEO might be and whatever defenses the guy might have, that sounds immoral. And even forgetting the LEO angle, deception of this kind sounds immoral.

You and a provider you are paying for pretend to be a married legit couple looking for a guy for a 3-some, and this guy, should he accept get's a free ride?  (I'm presuming no M on M action.)

I wouldn't mind so much if the first scenario occurred to me.   (Though I'm not all that much into MFM unless I know the guy very well.), but the second would be a major no-no, for obvious reasons.

In other words, instead of the deception, why not just own it that you and your trusted provider are out as a "couple" looking to land a single guy for some NSA MFM action?

It may be a little trickier this way to land the single guy, but there's no deception and the outcome is generally the same as you originally described.

Now if it's the deception component that you find very hot, there are other issues...

I've actually partaken in the swinging/"hotwife" (we weren't married but whatever) fetish in my personal life and LOVE it. If a client wanted to go out and do this with me I don't see the harm. There are so many men with this fetish who would love to do it but who can't find women who are into it. I would definitely understand why a guy would want to do this with a provider. Sounds fun!
