Hometown Reviews?

Ok. I admit it. I have a lot of great hometown reviews from my regulars, in part because they want to remain my regular -- especially if/when I go UTR.
The negative for providers in this situation is that while on tour, I have to live up to these great reviews! Lol. It makes me work harder! So all of my 60 minute sessions end up being 75 minutes etc. Thus now, I do have a few great traveling reviews.
I say this to say, yes, hometown reviews in my opinion are a bit biased. Men who see their hometown girls are looking for ATFs (or at least a friendly warm spot). They expect to see them next week rather than the next 8 weeks or year. Of course they're going to write something positive!

I have had some recent experiences with very well reviewed providers, great track records, expecting them to be beauties and great performers, and the reality fell short of that. The common thread was that they primarily worked in small to mid-size cities, not major metro areas. Which set me to wondering if there was a reason why reality and reviews diverged so greatly, beyond bad luck or lack of connection.

Is it possible that the smaller the city, the less reliable the reviews, or, to be more specific, the more positive the reviews as compared to the experience? Thinking about it, this could have something to do with there being more blow-back for a negative review in a smaller community, perhaps coupled with less choice/competition, so the best do not have to be quite so great.

Bottom line is that even with a lot of good reviews, if a lady works the small town circuit and that is where most of the reviews come from, I am getting leery of trusting the reviews. And no, I have nothing against small town folks - just a regular, Midwestern guy, myself.

Anyone else note this type of pattern?

I hate to generalize, but having spent time in both big cities and small cities, in general the small city talent pool is usually not as deep.  You are limited to BP/CV/etc. girls and maybe an agency where the girls are glorified dancers that upcharge to take off their shirts.  Small city guys are constantly seeing 5-6 appearance girls and then along comes a visiting 8 and he's so thrilled that she has all her teeth that he gives her a 10.

I've also noticed this to be the case with performance.  Many of the small city locals will give a cbj only and then along comes a traveling girl that offers BBBJ and/or Greek and even if the performance is just average, the guy is so thrilled to have the experience that he tends to over inflate the score.

Just my $0.02

WKs can be local guys seeing local girls or guys seeing touring girls.  WKs can be found in both cases. In any case, WKs fuck up the review system and its integrity.

It is part of the Mangina Syndrome. Guys feel so luck to have had a 4-5 jump their bones and suck their dick and automatic 9-10 is generated by them in reviews.

Of course one mans 10 is another mans 6 and YMMV. However, with most of the Mangina's 10's are the rule more often than not. Check a man's reviews and if he gives out nothing but nines and tens, he is a full fledged Mangina and perhaps one in Mensa. But, it runs throughout the review systems in this business and they cannot help themselves so just give it it's due consideration when doing your homework.

Large cities like Chicago, Minneapolis/StPaul ... Have better providers -- quality and quantity wise.  I think those places just have more business travelers, regulars to attract and retain more women in -- competation makes it.

I'm in a small market area. Based on the providers I've seen who were visiting from big cities--NYC, LA, Las Vegas, etc.--it seems that girls around here charge much less for the same level of looks and performance. And I don't believe that touring overhead alone accounts for the difference.

I don't pay much attention to ratings, so it's possible that I'm missing something there. I am often puzzled by all the great reviews that some fairly homely, out-of-shape women receive. I never thought that was a phenomenon that big cities were immune to.

If there are 3 ladies who work within commuting distance of Smallville, what is a guy supposed to think a "10" is?  Probably a step or two beyond the best of those three ladies.  The best of the 3 he gets to see is almost by definition "Above average", so he rates them acordingly.

This is very different--in both looks and performace expectations--than in a different city where there are more options and the "best" available as a standard of comparison is much different.

Of course the easy HSer responce is what you get her, "Those lieing scum WKs are trying to ruin life as we know it".  Said, not coincidently, but a group of aliases (what a shock there!)

I have essentially all 8+s on the reviews I have given because I check photos and do my homework beyond the reviews (which are by their very nature subjective).  All a list of reviews really tell you is a little about her attitude, and whether she is safe/ripoff.  It should tell you more, but in reality they often don't.

Dear Ziggy440:
You might want to look at the history of the reviewer. Look at the grade and quality of the providers that he reviews and where some of the providers travel. You might also want to look at primary industries in these smaller towns. Keep in mind that a lot of those towns don't get the rotation of providers coming in because one would have to figure the entertainment dollar isn't in high concentration as it would be in larger cities. Also although providers would say that they are low volume they still need enough business to justify then going to visit that city. Henceforth there wouldn't be the exposure to good looking quality women that you would have in more well populated cities. Thus what would be average to a hobbyist in a larger city would be a goddess in the smaller cities. Not to mention that their skill set will be much sharper because of the frequency of clients that they would see. Henceforth there are constantly in practice which is a critical and primary reason why you would see them.

"in the future."  I think you meant to say simply "Hence," meaning "therefore."  Sheesh!  If you're gonna insist on using highfalutin lingo, at least get it right.
