Just wanted to take a survey here. Clients and providers are encouraged to answer.  Have you ever known someone:
1) Who faithfully used protection but still contracted an STD through hobbying?
2) If YES to above question, what kind of STD?
3) Who was able to give up hobbying or providing altogether and lead a "normal" life afterwards?
4) Who prefers to visit the Nevada brothels instead of seeing independent providers because they feel it is safer in terms of STDs and LE?

Maybe I'm walking on taboo ground here, but I am hoping to get some honest answers from the people who would know.

1. Yes.
2. Human papilloma virus (HPV), or genital warts.  This can be contacted by any skin-to-skin contact (like the area at the base of the penis that’s often not covered).
3. No, but I’m fairly new at this, so I don’t know a lot of people, yet.
4. I’ve never been to the brothels.  If I did, it would be more out of concern for LE than STDs.

2. Syphilis, scabies, herpes, warts (both plantar and genital)

4. I don't know any personally but I know some people who prefer to go to Tijuana for much the same reasons (well, not the STD reason...but the LE reason)

Here are my answers:

1) Who faithfully used protection but still contracted an STD through hobbying?

No.  Never. I always use "wipes" to clean all areas in addition to the use of protection.  Have not had even a single case of STDs.  I am in my 40s.

I never talk with other people about these, so can't tell you about others.

3) Who was able to give up hobbying or providing altogether and lead a "normal" life afterwards?

Yes, when they find the love of their lives, and only then for hobbiest.  For providers, it must also include the financial security.  Overwhelming number of providers are in this not for sex, but for financial rewards

4) Who prefers to visit the Nevada brothels instead of seeing independent providers because they feel it is safer in terms of STDs and LE?

I would prefer Nevada especially, for STD safety.  But I rarely see a provider, unless she is somehow exceptional.
