Is this a slow time -- for agencies in particular?

I thought I noticed a slowdown in reviews, but that seems to have corrected itself (staff must have been out or something). However, I noticed what would be my go-to agency were it not downtown is offering a "3p" special, which I take to mean two-girls special,* and in which case it's ~$100 off. And a girl at another agency said they're all going back to NYC for two days over Xmas (back on the 26th -- that's weird). I don't remember seeing this in the past, but I didn't have much of a view nationally before I started looking at TER.

* The two-girl special I take as a bad sign for a fledgling agency, or maybe it's just a holiday gesture.

Especially the top talent.
Here in the Yay Area, the top K-Girls are fully booked, there's literally a line of punters out the door.

Now, the B and C list? Not so much.

when things are lean for Kgirls who do not have a lot of regulars.  Regulars will keep coming through the holidays on their usual days.  For girls that depend on same-day bookings, December is a tough month.  Christmas is family time, and married guys, which make up a significant percentage of Kgirl customers and get EXTRA days off work for Christmas, often have a harder time getting away for a session than single guys.  Likewise, the closer it gets to Christmas, single guys with family outside of the area will travel home to see family at Christmas. The veteran girls who have picked up on the fact that December is slow for them will often take extra days off themselves.

There are two takeaways from this for the rest of us.  1)  If you have had a hard time booking popular girls, the next three weeks may be easier, and 2) If you have not been able to get approved at a certain org, now would be a good time to try again.  Trying to fill unsold time slots will encourage some bookers to be a little more relaxed in screening this time of the year.  Merry Christmas!!!

I have used this to my advantage over the years, though it still requires finesse and a willingness to give up something. I had a lot to lose in career and public shame, so it still scared me. But it was the *only* way I got approved those days and it was still, on balance, not that successful -- don't get your hopes up. I was grateful I had what I had with indies and, surprisingly, low-end c-org girls. However, it feels great -- like I didn't know it would feel so crazy great -- to not care *as much* these days and check out these agencies. I'm ready to go. If I get pushed, so be it... and fuck shame.

End of the year means accrued vacation is facing a use it or lose it deadline of Dec 31.  I have to take the last two weeks of December off work because I can only carry over 80 hours of vacation into 2023.  So yeah, I'm home for the holidays, and under a watchful eye.

I tend to be more generous with my regulars near the holidays so seeing someone new, including touring agency girls, is a lower priority.
