Do you hobby as yourself or under an alter-ego (perhaps as someone you like to be)?  This is the world of fantasy after all.

By this I mean do guys pretend to be Dr. Smith MD,  CEO of IBM, music / movie industry big wig, model talent scout, or maybe something much darker (criminal / drug dealer / overall bad dude)?

Do you also act differently in the bedroom than you would in a typical scenario in the civie world?

As for me in my limited sessions I have only played myself and have pretty much performed in a similar fashion to way I would act normally.  I am thinking about expanding my horizons and I would be interested in hearing what you guys do.

I try to be myself as much as possible.  Otherwise I would be thinking of too many things to relax and enjoy myself.

That is a nice fantasy!  However, I am afraid many of us (myself included) would fail to measure up once exposed to the elements.

As myself. Hey at time this can be a bit nerve racking enough without trying to remember some part you are trying to play.
As far acting different in the bedroom. Sure there is a difference. With a provider you are dealing with someone who is there to provide you with a service. With someone in the civie world the experience isd on a different level for both.

But lately I've been toying with the idea of fobbing myself off on unsuspecting providers as BizzaroSuperdude or mrfisher.  Maybe even Jack0.

... I hobby as myself (it's just better to be straight with the ladies).  But...

...When I go to the pool in the summer, I always sign in under a different name.  It used to be rock stars who are famous but not necessarily household names, i.e. Ace Frehley, Angus Young, Billy Gibbons, Billy Squire, etc.  Then, last summer I starting incorporating some of your usernames and aliases, such as Holey Diver, Keystone Kid, Oldest Fat Fart, Mr. Fisher, and of course My Favorite DILF!  Just wanted to see if bored-out-of-his-skull-17-yr-old-lifeguard would raise an eyebrow when he handed in the signup sheet, or perhaps his mgr. might question him?  So far, there still dozing...

However, I did get a good reaction awhile back when I showed up to see one of my ATF's.  After knocking on the front door to her house and seeing her peek at me through the window, I slipped on my black FBI hat (I was already wearing a plain black windbreaker), so I looked "the part".  So when she opened the door for me in her lingerie, and I (someone she trusts) stood there in an "FBI" hat her jaw hit the floor.  She laughed (just a little) when I asked if she liked my "new hat that I just picked up in Washington, D.C.?"  Sensing that she wasn't too thrilled with my little prank, I handed her the hat and told her it was a gift for her and that she was free to "pull the prank" on one of her "regulars".  She accepted, and we had a great time.

I have in the past, over 5 years ago.

I would love to do it again. I would hire ladies of course!!!!

And I would do it all over again.

actually two things.  Why would someone do that, and who would actually care?  Actually, I guess I do know that unfortunately, a lot of people might care. LOL.

Hell, some guys and girls think they are celebrities of TER/The Hobby. LOL.

There is one hobbyist who told Karrie and I he was the Gerber Baby.  We listened to his stories about the pictures being all over the house growing up, blah blah.

Too bad the Gerber Baby is a girl and started around 1930.  This hobbyist was I think a man, and not old enough anyway. What some people will do for attention. LMFAO

I've been so blessed to spend time with ladies who have opened me up, built my confidence and really brought me out of my shell- so the "just me" will never be the same!  And I am so grateful!

You know, I have thought about this before.

I am generally a very considerate, polite person with a somewhat self-deprecating sense of humor.  I have been told, by good friends (one of whom is a psychologist), that I should be a little more of the "Bad Boy".  I think his quote was, "Most every woman would like to think that she wants the nice guy, but almost all of them are subconsciously attracted to the bad boy."

I have considered being a little more of the Bad Boy in one of my sessions.  Not an asshole, or violent, but maybe just a little less polite, a little more selfish.

I tend to see indies that require screening most of the time and I've always assumed any attempt at an AKA would be blown up in the process and cause more difficulty than it would be worth.

Unless your referring to role play stuff and although that could be interesting I haven't done that in either my hobby or civie sex life.

I'm just myself. I can't pretend to be somebody I'm not.  I suppose I could go in as porn star "Claude Stiffman", but I would be found out to be a fake soon! lol

I treat ladies with respect and try to make the experience a great time for both.  If the lady says "no" to a certain request, I use another technique.  Kind of like "please and be pleased".

you would pass screening using someone elses name or a false name?  I know I screen everyone I see and if something doesn't seem right or legit, I simply move on to the next one.  I think role playing in the bedroom is one thing but trying to give false info to someone whom is simply trying to stay safe, is a trick and not funny at all.

I believe Transcend was alluding to the concept of acting differently while with a provider than you normally act in the Real World (tm).  I don't think he was suggesting trying to book an appointment under a false identity.

But I could be wrong.

Yes dbhappy, the spirit of my question was meant to ask do you have more fun acting out a fantasy persona.  I had not intended to ask if there guys out the trying to be deceptive or book under a false ID.

I've found that with most of the ladies I've seen, I'm becoming more comforable, and actually am able to be more myself. It's a very pleasant escape from the corporate world.

Mostly, I might feel like upgrading my job title because I'm bored. like anyone cares.

I might start saying I'm married to avoid 'singles discrimnation'.. I mean as long as you can sell it, they probably think your being untruthful anyway, due to the nature of the situation.

Im concerned on women being more comofrtable with married guys. So I may have to use that, I'm not trying to be discriminated against, because I'm a single 29-year old executive. I'm not looking to meet a girlfriend here, so that is definitely a story I might be willing to pitch. But I outed myself so you ladies that read the board would know anyways. hah.

I've decided though, I really prefer just getting right to the main event' more than anything, the small talk is cute, but when these girls are making more than lawyer/my CPA consultations, lets get to it .. and with that I mean no disrespect, I think these women are angels on earth, literally.

I mean it's pretty funny, me and my buddy Earl would go to mexico down to TJ. And when the girls would ask our names we were a different one with every girl that came up. I think it can be fun to suspend disbelief, but for me I don't care about the story, I care about the girl taking me to some far off place, where I'm not the semi-floundering quasi-inept with women person that I am in the real world, and I'm good
