Hmmm! Jealous SO's?

I asked a lady if I could review her after we had a tremendous time together. She looked fearful and ask me not too. I honored her request. But, one of the guys, who saw her right after me went ahead and reviewed her. And, the review was all about him and how she treated him so much more special than anyone else. Well, she went underground shortly afterward, and he posted about how her SO was after him.

I have experienced this before.  UTR high profile providers.  That's a no brainer.  Previously reviewed providers who for no reviews.  Tougher call.  In all of these cases they have been 8's to 10's, so it is not someone seeking to ditch a bad review.  Opinions?  I certainly don't need more reviews for review count.

If the lady would rate a good to great review and requests no reviews, then I would say to respect her wish.  But if she rates a bad review such as bait&switch, up-selling, etc. then by all means review so that the rest of us can avoid your experience.

than I would honor her request and not write a review.

I've always checked with her if she's UTR, but she is well discussed on boards or by word of mouth.  But, if she says she doesn't want a review, then I wouldn't.  I usually skip a review for well reviewed Providers when I've agreed with the other reviewers -- these have invariably been 9s or 10s in service and on the top 100 lists, but I would agree that if she has consistently good reviews and you completely disagree with those that have reviewed before because of a bad session or B&S, then I would opine.

Ifs she doesn't want a review then its for a good reason and you really should respect it. Even if its a good review, she may not want her business put out there for all of cyberspace to read.

and they know a bad review would silence their phone and stop filling up their pocket book. I know of 4 ladies myself that gentlemen have mention they have seen who said they were 5's in the service department at best. Pictures have been on the same sites for 4 to 10 years. Each says no reviews please....

If it is bad service and a gentleman reviews her what happens to the review. I noticed no reviews here at all for 2 of the ladies on EROS and backpage yet there use to be. It mentioned not the best service and pics were either very old or the lady was 50 lbs heavier. So can any lady pull all reviews if she wants to with her profile and that is it ?

Kisses Haley

I am sure that there are many reasons a companion would not want a review. Some of those reasons have already been covered, she has gained 50 lbs. since her last pictures, her game was just not on par, her in call smelled of cat pee etc. I am sure that those of you that have been in this arena for a while have seen great companions slide down hill and average companions rise to the top. Its a fact of life that nothing stays constant forever.

As I have recently been shown, another reason a companion may not want reviews is her standing on her local list. The difference between an 8 and 9 can move her out of the top 10 and into the top 50. You must have figured out by now that even the vainest companion can be somewhat upset when her rankings drop.

This does not mean that if you get service, looks and attitude that are significantly under par with her current reviews that you should not rate it. Companions have an obligation to be just as honest as you have the obligation to pay for her services. With that being said, if you don't rate a failure in service, looks or attitude, your doing a disservice to your fellow board members.

Finally you could run into someone like me. I am a very low volume companion. Fortunately or unfortunately my life is filled with both family and a non companion business that occupies a majority of my time. There are great advantages to having a lot of family living nearby, but I come from the Beaver Cleaver family and we spend a lot of time together. My non provider business is pretty successful, so it takes up significant time as well. This leaves me limited time to provide companionship, which I dearly enjoy.

Recently I had the HUGE pleasure of spending some time with a great client. He posted a great review of which I am always grateful. However, even before that review I was booked solid into MID February locally, and had two open days my next trip to Vegas. Since that review hit I have had a huge number of requests that I simply had to say no to, or they had to settle for latter dates. I have three open dates in February and thats it now. The power of a great review is astounding.

I can see where sometimes we would prefer our review not go out at all, or save it for a month or two down the road (which is about how long it seems to take to get TER to approve a review now a days, lol) when we may not be so busy. I feel bad when a client wants to schedule for next week and I tell him my next opening is not for 3-5 weeks. So I am saying in some cases this may also be a reason. I just think that kind of reply makes me sound snobby and uppity, of which I am just not either.

And of course to my clients both who have and have not reviewed me, Thank you so much. Your efforts are truly appreciated.

Just my two cents, take care be safe.

Most providers I met who wish not to be reviewed they do it for privacy reasons and because their clientele do not appreciate explicit details. I myself would prefer that the juicy details in reviews be omitted because frankly it is not anyone business what she did to me and what I did to her...

While I respect any provider's right not to be reviewed, if clients don't have reviews to go on it's a big problem.  As for the juicy details, it really helps convey the enthusiasm of the provider and how she "does what she does."  I'd have a real problem without that info.  It should be like watching TV; if you don't like what's on, change the channel.  With reviews, you can choose not to read them.

For the most part, ladies that request not to be reviewed DON'T NEED REVIEWS

They get their advertisement via word of mouth, from various sources that respect the "source's" integrity and will book an experience based on the referral

In other words, if the lady is UTR, does not want reviews, is NOT a ripoff/upsell, then what's the problem with not being able to review?????????????????????????????????????

Ego perhaps?

sheesh

Look, I don't see providers to play Parcheesi, and sit holding hands for an hour while looking dreamily into each other's eyes, pretending that she is my GF. I also don't particularly see providers for eye candy, or to substitute for an inability to have a social life. I am there to pay a fee for a service. You are damned right that I expect to know about the service.

It's a lady's right not to want details available to the general public. And it's my right not to see those ladies because I have no intention of parting with my hard-earned cash for someone who wants to be coy about what I will be getting for that cash- and I do NOT discuss services directly with the lady; you're writing yourself a one-way ticket to the slammer on that score if a sting is involved (because you've admitted to soliciting), whereas a review is at best hearsay evidence that can be used in a trial in conjunction with being caught red-handed.

I had enough of that trial-and-error crap back in the pre-TER/pre-review days. If that's your deal and you have surplus cash and time, fine and dandy. I have better things to spend my time and money on than figuring out if that "I am a courtesan who can make your desires come to life" is all advertising bullshit or the real deal. So I think I'll be using and writing reviews that involve services, thank you very much.

It is grounds for automatic delisting according to the TER guidelines.

She can choose to get delisted to get the review revealing that she is a B&S or the like removed. Keeping the scam going. I know of ladies who have done exactly that for that reason. Delisting only hurts if you want your reviews.

I have sticked rule I follow of when I review.

Times I never review ever.

-When in a double with my wife. I don't review my wife sexual habits. She books all such sessions.

-When I am a friend of the provider before our fist session. I don't write shill reviews.

Times I always review except when the above is true. I will make time to write said review.

- I feel I need to warn my fellow hobbyists. Examples: Old photos, Robbers, B&S, con-women, dangerous pimp possibility, threats, violence, blackmailer, arrived under the influence, did not preformed as advertised, extreme rudeness, extreme uncleanliness, upselling and other similar experiences. We must warn each other of bad or dangerous people in this game we play. Note if the experience is bad enough it will post a review and/or a warning even if the above is true.

Times I don't review except when the above is true.

- The lady requests I don't. I respect a lady's privacy. "Only if it is good" or similar is permission to review even if it was not going to be a good review. It will count against her. I don't play that game.

- I was not up to par. It happens. Sometimes I am tired, in a bad mood or just over sexed when it is time for the session to start. The session was not as good as it should have been but I take responsibly for it. I will not have my issues affect a lady's business.

-I know she is going to retire soon.

-I already reviewed her.

-I don't know if she wants a review or not.

All other times I review if I find time to write it while it is fresh in my mind.  IF TOFTT and she wants a review I go out of my way to find time. I like helping the ladies get their start or to be the first to sound the warning.

If my SO were a provider, won't ever happen, and she had reviews it would drive me bonkers.

My wife had reviews before I ever met her. She has some on this site form 6 years ago when she worked as an independent and worked in Salt Lake and Las Vegas mostly from the gents in Vegas. Now on different site she has reviews for her work at the brothel she works at now.

I have read some of her reviews but quit as it was driving me crazy. But worse then reading her reviews was the first nights sleeping alone knowing some guy was likely fucking her brains out. It does get easier as it becomes plain she is sill going to come home to me no mater how much better at sex or how much more attractive some of these guys are than me. I can now read her reviews without going out of my mind but no longer feel the need.

B&S, dangerous situation I had to run away from, not the lady in the pictures, or otherwise did not deliver, and particularly did not attempt to deliver, the services promised. Those are reviews I would post without permission.

Luckily enough, and thank you TER, I have not been ripped off.

I have ED issues from time to time (though the hobby has helped me to learn about this and manage it, I am glad to report) and some providers are very nervous about getting a review when things go awry. The reasons for that have been discussed here and explained pretty well - some hobbyists get upset and blame the provider. Those are the only instances I have been asked not to review, but I would always honor the request unless I felt I had been ripped off. It is a public report on a shared, private time, and I try to show the provider the same consideration in publicly discussing our time together that I expect from her.

There are some providers out there who try to manage their reviews pretty aggressively - I have met one, and I know there are others. I really have not figured out how to handle those attempts to game the system, but after that one time I think I have figured out how to avoid those ladies. As someone recently posted, if your focus is on how the review will read, the spontaneity and intimacy that really make it a great time are likely to be absent.

you cheap assholes always want the big mac for dollar menu prices maybe you should try getting a girlfriend if possible if not its extra work and i'm sure if the shoe was on your foot you would want to get paid too.... i mean YOUR PAYING FOR PUSSY DO YOU HONESTLY EXPECT A GIRL TO GIVE YOU SOMETHING FOR FREE WHEN THE PUSSY ISNT all of you are whiny bitch made loser's and as a working girl all of you are the same none of you are special so i dont understand why you want to be treated as such

I don't bring extra money as I have been robbed. If for your time you want $$$$$$$ fine be up front with it if I think you are worth it I will pay $$$$$$$. But to get a guy in a the room for $$ then tell him it will be $$$$ more to take care of it is fraud. If you go to a auto shop to get an oil change and call ahead and find out the price and they quote you $25 and when you get there you find out they charged $55 wouldn't you be upset? I would. Cheapness has nothing to do with it. Expecting honesty out of those you pay has everything to do with it.

Second, who said anything about getting free pussy? I am always dressed by the time the time is up. I have strict hobbying rules I follow and if I am nude with anyone but my wife I am paying for it. I don't want free pussy form the ladies I hire. It would be against the agreement I have with my wife and I will not cheat on my wife. It is not cheating if you have permission.

Third I am paying the lady to make me feel special. It is her job. That is part of why I pay as much as I do. If I need someone to tell me I am a worthless piece of shit I can easily get that for free. The whole point of this is to have some fun and to feel special for a while.

Fourth if you hate your job or you clients as much as it seems you do, why in hell do you do it? There is lots of other ways to make a living, go do one of those. I hope no one is forcing you and if you are forced there is those who will help you get out safely, No need to continue doing this if it makes you unhappy.

Fifth, what is your rant about? Are you one of these upselling bitches who try and prey on there clients when they are the most vulnerable? If so why don't you try to treat your clients honestly and with respect? You will likely get better clients and be much happier with your job. I treat the ladies I see with a great deal of respect and expect the same in return. Upselling is very disrespectful.

But it bothers me when I see a lady who dislikes there clients and thus there job as much as yellowdiamonds seems to. I know she is likely just a troll but it still bothers me.

If the lady looks like her pictures, delivers as promised on service for the price stated, and you walk away with a smile, then I would honor her request to not be reviewed.

If she is a ripoff, upsell, pics are not her or nor representative of what she looks like now, she doesn't offer the services you were led to believe she did, etc...then review her as a warning to other potential clients.

There are really two uses for reviews, good reviews advertise for the ladies, bad reviews warn potential clients.

If there is no reason to warn anyone about the lady in question, then all the review would serve to do (other than maybe be some bragging thing for the reviewer) is advertise for the lady.  If she doesn't want that advertisement then she shouldn't be reviewed.  This is the lady's business and because of that should have the right to decide how, when, where she is advertised.

Warnings trump her request, but if there are no issues anyone needs to be warned about, then respect her wishes.

I doubt I am in a high percentage of companions who do this, BUT, consider this.

My entire desire when checking references and looking into scheduling a client is on not just safety, but being a match. Many of you have tons of reviews. The first thing I do is RESEARCH your reviews. I want to know what you liked about the companions you have seen in the past year. I want to know what went well, what didn't go well. I want to compare myself to others. What do I have in common if anything with those that you rated highly.

In other words am I a good match for you? Can I give you your moneys worth? Are you going to walk away happy or just satisfied. I want you to have to crawl away. When I leave your room I want to know that you had a time to remember and that all you want to do is roll over and sleep.

Each and every companion and client are individual. Not all of us are a good match. I use the reviews you write often to simply make sure I can supply what it is you say you liked.

Just a thought

Some ladies I want a FBSM with a happy ending and her message skills are all important. Anther lady I see just for her unbelievable CBJ skills. Anther lady because I like her personality. Yet anther lady for how enthusiastically she swallows my cum. Yet anther for her perfect breasts. I don't want a FBSM form the lady loves to snack on my jizz. That is not why I book her I want her enthusiastic BBBJ. If I am booking you I want what you offer not what anther lady offers form you that I enjoyed in the past. Every lady is different and that is what I am looking for.

Yep, I agree completely. I'm one that loves the variety. Looks, personality, services, the variety is what makes it fun.

Kudos on your response Reagan!!! I read your website blog "What makes you Happy" that so wonderfully states it. I myself want my companion to have enjoyed our time together as well.
It's not about the $ or the O (well maybe somewhat..lol).. It’s about the total experience of sharing mutual joy of total intimacy and fantasy. As going to see a movie, one reads the reviews to find the genre as well as the content. Expectations for what someone desires and wants are better realized if they have information to make choices that will fulfill those expectations... or better than.. During my tryst with a companion and she been "honest” with info, profile, photos, etc.. the moments "shared" are usually wonderful expressions of human desires...or should I say Paradise.. where $ or time disappear.
That's the point of it all...

And restaurants get everything from 1 to 5 stars. There's TripAdvisor, that rates hotels from user feedback.

Does that mean those reviews are simply ego-driven as well?

Reviews do help me cut through the "I am a sophisticated paramour and courtesan who will entice you in bed", or "our luxury accommodations are the epitome of style" advertising verbiage and give me an idea of what to expect. It's useful information that helps me make a decision on what to do with my money and time. I appreciate those providers who allow this. I understand why some do not, and don't necessarily hold it against them (it's their choice)... but I will say that lack of reviews and/or anti-review policy would definitely affect my willingness to see someone.

I can say that while I read TripAdvisor or TER reviews with a critical eye (many times the review will tell you more about the reviewer than the subject reviewed), they are NOT just  ads, even when positive.

(Oh, and TripAdvisor has shills and fake reviews, too.)

...gets mad, too bad.  Do restaurants expect not to be reviewed?  Do actors?  Even physicians these days get reviewed.  Good providers will be professional and not mind getting reviews.

I suspect the problem is not getting reviewed per se, but rather the style in which we tend to review providers here.  Some of the reviews are quite crude and/or weirdly personal (I'm guilty too).  Too many reviews can also damage the illusion that the provider is low-volume or that her performance is 'special'.  Which might be bad for business.

I have experienced this before.  UTR high profile providers.  That's a no brainer.  Previously reviewed providers who for no reviews.  Tougher call.  In all of these cases they have been 8's to 10's, so it is not someone seeking to ditch a bad review.  Opinions?  I certainly don't need more reviews for review count.

...and not something illegal, like sex for pay. To test your analogy, try submitting a review without mentioning anything more indiscreet than you would for a restaurant and see how many days' credit TER gives you.

...is that they are 'honest' customer opinions, not necessarily advertisements.  It's totally irrelevant whether the activity is legal or illegal.  In fact, some of the reviews here describe perfectly legal services in Nevada or Canada or Europe.

Just like in a restaurant review, the details and opinions are relevant and important...

"I ordered the 'chopped egg and turkey pie', which the menu advertised as a house specialty.  Unfortunately, it came 40 minutes later, dead cold, and tasted like a cross between cat food and stale crackers.  Fortunately, the desert -- a classic hot fudge sundae -- made up for the disgusting main course..."

How are these different than what most of the reviews here contain?

My problem is with the reviews that are more introspection or braggadocio than review (and yea, I'm guilty).  Imagine a restaurant review like that...

"I can eat a hell of a lot.  Once I ate six 10 ounce sirloins in one sitting, plus fries, and still had desert.  So there was no question I was going to be able to finish this plate of pasta.  I can't say for sure whether the pasta was any good, but because I have some serious skills with a fork, it certainly slid down easily enough..."

Now THAT is totally useless.  Entertaining, maybe, but sort of pointless.

the fact that i and others have had to state this to you repeatedly now is quite disturbing.

But there are some of us still out here to whom a woman is always a lady, unless and until she proves otherwise.  I don't care if I am P4P or not, I treat them as individuals (and there are damn few of them I will actually see (and vice versa) because of it), and like a Lady.  I just don't know any other way, nor would I want to.  Life is too short, women are too beautiful, and people are people regardless of what they do.  What they do, and who they are, are almost never the same thing, whether they are a provider or something else.  Sometimes this view gets me in trouble because a provider thinks I am "too interested", and somehow thereby "dangerous" or the ever present "pain in the ass" category, but that is OK too, I guess.  It makes me feel bad, believe it or not, but it is what it is.

Now you watch, somebody on this board will call me out as a "mangina" for this view, you watch.

It is nothing like a cafe, movie, or doctor's office it is much more personal, private, and illegal as well. Discretion needs to go both ways. If the provider dealt with you honestly and there is no need to warn others, if she chooses to be discreet and not have reviews hobbyists like us need to respect her wishes. Even TER understands and allows ladies to delist themselves. Providers are people first and foremost and even a good review can hurt them in some cases.

and the sanity lilli, mexicanmonster and scoed have shown in the light of this topic.

And bashfuljohn (though we know you're not - bashful that is):

You can go ahead and review her (and same for the hopefully minority of hobbyists), but you can be damn sure that lovely lady will never see you again...

Fortunately, many discreet ladies who are great providers (as well as the not so discreet ones like myself hehehe) have some great instincts when it comes to filtering out the "bad eggs" and we work to find some chemistry and this business is about our pleasure or his, not just simply for our bank accounts. Hell, the bank acct is the incentive...the incredible experiences happen with incredible providers UTR or not)

I can pretty much tell through correspondence with a gent (or lady ;) ) if there's chemistry and whether or not I know the time will be outstanding...

For the gentlemen that appreciate the ladies, thank you...

For the guys that are "jaded" or have a distorted sense of respect for a woman...there are many like you. Wouldn't you be happier if the cup was half full?

Always looking on the bright side (and a rockin' good time lmao)

These are the choices:

1) It's a date.  You are the center of the universe.

2) It's a service call.  The client is the center of the universe.

Does #2 mean that the client has a right to treat the provider rudely?  Of course not.  I don't care whether she's a sex worker or waitress or car mechanic.  It's just not cool.  Believe me,  I am as big a sucker mangina as they come.  I've had more stomach knots (and even tears) over provider girlfriends than any guy should have in a lifetime, and too many tears and mascara smears have been on my shirts because of jerks who think that prostitutes are just a hole with some pretty meat attached.

But I am also tough as nails when it comes to professionalism.  If a woman wants to collect money for a service, then she needs to accept that her performance can be evaluated at the client's discretion.  Not hers.  The clients.  Prostitution is not a hobby.  It's a job.  These are not real dates.

OF COURSE she can ask a client to not review her.  And personally, if someone asked me to not review them, I probably wouldn't.  I haven't reviewed a lot of providers, for a lot of reasons.  But I still think it's not up to the provider.  It's up to the client.

Clear?  Good.  If you don't want to work for me because of that, then don't.  I know other people who will.

benefit, it does not preclude that she is "in business"

So based on your primary premise, your philosophy goes out the window.

As far as "working for you", I would never know unless you told me or a review popped up. I would see or not see you based on your approach for a meeting with me. I'm sure, if you communicate in a respectful manner and handle yourself with anticipation of meeting me, I would probably see you. If I am put off somehow by your character, well, I just wouldn't see you. It has nothing to do with your online persona-some people are @ssh*les online and sweethearts in person.

btw

I don't "work" for my clients...We share incredible exxxperiences and I may exxxpend alot of energy and be exxxhausted after our date, but I don't call this work.

...to enjoy the intimate services she offers under the cloak of discretion. Then to turn around and disrespect her request for maintaining discretion.

Sorry, not all types of reviews are the same. Of course, there are aspects common to both restaurants and escorts--just as there are clear differences. In either case, reviews should be written to serve other customers, not the subject of the review, although the results can benefit both. Any escort realizes that just by being in the trade, even though she may have her reasons for wanting to forego the benefits of being reviewed, she opens herself to the chance that some clod will come along who thinks she's no more deserving of deference than a steakhouse. But just because we can doesn't mean it's always a good idea to "review her anyway".

to read the whole thread)

If the lady is not advertising on TER, and is a great date (not a ripoff or bait & switch), there should be no reason why the client should not respect her wishes.

As an active member of TER, I know I can't request a client not review me (0therwise, I face delisting).

But, those ladies who are UTR and/or work off of TER, if you see them, and they request "no reviews", why is it so hard to not respect their wishes????

I'm not saying that clients should be rude.  I'm just saying that professionals should expect to be evaluated as such, whether they like it or not.
